Just out of interest 3mm, how long have you been supporting The Blues? Put your answers in to those anagrams that you know - Cheers. My dad first took me when I was 4, a long, long time ago. We used to stand at the front of the kop and the only place the wall was low enough for me to see over was right in the corner. I looked at it years later and it was about knee high 
When I was a kid my dad was mates with Tommy Gardner the trainer and we used to go and watch them train on the annexe. After one session all the players went in apart from one who stopped for extra training, and I had a kick around with him. Sadly I was so young I can't really remember it, well, maybe very vaguely. It was the centre forward, Ron Davies, went on to play for Southampton, Manchester United and Wales, d'oh. If only my dad had had a camera!
Re anagrams, I got Stan Bennion straight away, and Milton Graham shortly afterwards. Not so good on the rest...  |
