For a bit of fun, if you had to choose a new owner who would it be and why. Anything goes, but try to give a reason.
Just to get it going I’ll go for Harry Redknapp who is looking for a club to buy after lockdown and could bring in heavy weights Razor Ruddock and John Barnes.

He could build a new house on the adjacent land, complete with an entertainment complex and perhaps even an artificial beach to remind him of Sandbanks. If only someone else had thought of that!

Rio Doherty if he won the lottery. Failing that someone already famous who has their reputation at stake with an affiliation to the city, like Owen.

To be fair there has never been an opportunity to buy the club ever. Club has never been up for sale. Bit harsh having a go at Owen.

I feel like we have the best possible owners. We just could do with a few more of them.

My preference would be for all the regular supporters to join the CFU.

Maybe he'd get his dog in to sign the cheques

The way I see it is people without money always say who they would give it to if they had it. Those that have it just want more.

At this point in time we could really do with financial guidance by a genuine money saving expert, and champion of the people, and in such regard there is no one better than Martin Lewis, educated at The Kings School Chester.

Roman Abramovich! Once spotted enjoying the attractions of the city centre. Maybe Chelsea could use a new feeder club.

Entering in to the spirit of the OP I would be fine with the suggestion of Rio if he won the lottery. Failing that Bill Gates or JK Rowling, both people who have made loads but think it is important to give back. Perhaps get Delia from Norwich City as the catering in the kiosks may improve.

Anyone who can fund the monies we need to get back into the league. It's going to be a lot more than we seem to be able to raise at moment.
Too many Cestrians more happy to be armchair Liverpool, United and other teams.

Sheikh Mohammed or Hamden Al Maktoum.
They've funded horse racing in this country to an extent over the last 30 years. They've both proved loyal and supportive to those who work, or worked, for them.

Duke of Westminster, deep pockets and local connection! Ain't interested Sadly not so though who knows with the right approach? We could survive off the rent of just one of his London properties. Some years ago i did see a shot of him with his father visiting the stadium and from memory he had a kit on. I wrote to his father during the Terry Smith era. Had a reply. Has anyone made an attempt I wonder?

The 'real' Gallagher brothers were supposed to have been looking for a club at one time, late 90's maybe? and attended a game at the Deva, a couple of nights work each in the summer and there's the playing budget sorted!
