Just asking 😎

Are you able to offer names and numbers on the back or are they standard shirts? I know the originals wouldn't have had names on back but numbers would be great...
Nevertheless, a good fundraising idea.
Do you know how many other retro shirts will be on offer in the coming weeks? I do like this one but I can think of a few others that I'd rather buy a new version of 👍

Yes the manufacturer can include a name and number on the shirts for no extra cost.
I think, subject to this all going well, we may look at bringing out a retro design every six months or so. There are loads of potential options - where possible we’d like to include the full logos including manufacturer but there are some restrictions with brands like Le Coq Sportif and Umbro.

Best thing about this is the timeframe to factor in payday. Haven’t looked forward to payday as much as this.
Hope 95-96 season is next in line!

The "Famous Five" pinstripe shirt - what I wouldn't give for one of those before it's too late!!

Due to the interest in the retro shirt, these have now been listed on the online shop which makes ordering and payment much easier (big thanks to the volunteers for sorting this). You can order via www.chesterfcretail.com/collections/match-kit and confirm address details for delivery. If the current measures have been relaxed to allow us to offer collection from the stadium then we will do so, however at the moment we don't know if this will be possible. The pre-order deadline is 31st May and the shirts will take 4-6 weeks to be manufactured. As soon as they have been shipped from Ribero we will update everyone.

Would love a retro shirt from the 1992 season - our first in the Deva Stadium. Was my first season watching the Blues and always wanted that shirt

OK thanks for the chart, that is not the normal way a chest measure expressed. Divide by 2.54 and you have inches.

There’s a Facebook group called Dull Men’s Club. We’re slowly entering their territory here.

Great to hear there's been a decent response to this. If it is to be an ongoing thing I'd love to see the 93/94 away shirt - the first shirt I owned as a kid. I like it a lot more than the 94/95 version with the broken stripes that everyone seems to be fond of, just looks cleaner.

92/93 home please. Money waiting Favourite Chester shirt. Thankfully got one out of my mum and dad’s loft at the beginning of last season, as I was going to succumb and buy one off eBay.

Toffs used to do a retro Chester shirt from I think 1974, in thick cotton. Classic blue and white stripes, with just the old badge with the Seals crest. No sponsor logo or other clutter. I have one. Looking at their website I don't see it, so was just thinking we should do our own from our most successful ever season. As worn by the team that humbled the mighty Leeeds United.

Nice design indeed. Would have been good to wear in Rome at Italy v Switzerland...hopefully next year! PS I really like shirt in sky blue with red numbers from Graham Turner and Roy Cheetham days...oh and not forgetting Billy Whizz, Provan, Groves,Sutton....

Go all out on a remake of the 74/75 shirt for Christmas me thinks. That would shift some serious numbers as a present.

These measurements must be across a flat shirt and not as usually measured around the torso, otherwise there is going to a lot of folk busting some shapes 😀
