Fans from suspended leagues around the world are looking to the Bundesliga that restarts today. To help fill the football fix I'm going to be supporting 1. FC Union Berlin as my second team (tough first game tomorrow, 5pm at home to Bayern Munich). It's a club that is easy to identify with as a Chester fan, and outsider club that has been sustained and saved by its own fans - Fans donated blood
So who is everyone else going to support? Come on you Eiserne! (the Iron Ones)

Always like 1860 Munich, for no particular reason.
I saw the club trying to get fans to follow Freiburg as it's near Chester's twin town.

I’ve always had a soft spot for Eintracht Frankfurt but will be backing SC Freiburg purely due to our club plugging us. I’ve always been a big fan of the Bundesliga because the stadiums have plenty of character, the supporters are ultra passionate, and I also like the 51/49 model that clubs have. Meanwhile, more and more stadiums here in England are becoming soulless, and certainly at many of the big clubs the atmospheres are nowhere near as good as they used to be due to tourists and glory supporters. You don’t really get that in Germany which is why I’m a big advocate of the Bundesliga.

I noticed on Twitter that the club's account had some engagement with SC Freiburg, choosing them as the club to support! In these precarious times, perhaps this is an opportunity that the club could piggy back on and look to strike up further collaboration or membership from further afar.

SC Freiburg. Had a season ticket there in the early 90's when I worked in teh Black forest. Was a great ground (they're currently finishing a new one) and when thengame kicked off at 3.30pm, if you didn't get in by 1.00pm, chances are you wouldnt have got in. Great atmosphere and fans. A cool university city steeped in history and fantastic architecture. BBC compared the club to Norwich, I think that was harsh - nothing against Norwich, but the club has a local milk company and brewery as sponsors, not a major car, business or pharmaceutical company. Think they are a genuine club and I dont see any reason not for the club to,maybe try and forge some links with them.

St Pauli in the 2.Bundesliga. Been a fan since they let our hockey team use their bus when we were in Hamburg about 20 years ago. Go as often as we can although that's obviously not possible at the moment.
