Talk of Kidderminster and Gloucester in for him. But I’d like to step a division.
Although shows the budget we will have next season

The downfall of not having Murphys money starts Were we even going to have it anyway? Unpaid bills galore.

A shame, but if he wants money we don't have without surrendering to Murphy's quashball and Ritz de la Sealand Industrial Estate, then that's the way it is. Good luck to him.

After all the injuries he had, the patience shown by the fans and especially the management it's disappointing that he'd jump ship straight away to another Club which will eventually go nowhere with a support of 500.

Officially gone to Gloucester, wow.
For some reason I thought he was under contract until the end of next season and we'd be due a fee? But judging by the wording, he's just left on a free?

Slightly embarrassing losing our top scorer on a free to Gloucester. 🤬 They’re splashing the cash by the looks of it - made four signings this week, two from Maidstone and one from Solihull too. New ground to pay for also with small crowds. Unsure it’ll end well considering nobody knows when football will resume and what football will look like when it does. The current benefactors businesses may be affected too. What other clubs are making signings in the current climate? Hardly any.

Can't blame him - bet he's on a wedge there and with his injury record, he's got to make hay whilst the sun shines.
Phenomenal striker on his day, but he had a fair few where he hardly had a kick either. It's always great having a prolific centre forward and he was a figure for the fans to rally around, but it doesn't give me great concerns. I've no interest in us trying to compete with silly money elsewhere, its the Conference North, there'll be other strikers capable of leading the line.

Could be that we just can't really justify keeping him on with his wages and have come to a mutual agreement.
There'll always be clubs throwing money about at this level, and it seems like Gloucester are the latest. I've stopped feeling embarrassed about it and prefer to just see it as we're being financially responsible while others aren't.

Slightly embarrassing losing our top scorer on a free to Gloucester. 🤬 Contract finished in May, so he was free to go where he pleased with no fee to CFC. with finances going to be tight for the playing budget and club overall I doubt he will be the only one going, probably a couple that we may have expected to move on May now stay? Hard times for the managers and the board, with the impact of Covid-19 trying to put a budget together will be a serious headache.

Sad to see him go, what a great player when he did play.
However, it seems highly dangerous to be signing any players at present when we have no idea when next season will start and under what conditions. There is an awful lot of water to pass under the bridge before we see a ball kicked in the NLN 2020/21 season.

Disappointing but to be expected. I kind of got the impression he was a bit of a loner in the squad, perhaps because he wasn't from the area. Cracking player on his day and comfortably a 20 goal a season striker in this league. Would like to see Elliot given a proper go now, or Lloyd Marsh Hughes as I've heard plenty of times now from various people that he's the one of the best young prospects they've seen at this level.

Well, York are rumoured to be losing Maguire to Darlington. Same source as where the initial Asante rumour came from.
Anyway, he's gone and good luck to him, he did well for us. We move on.

You are reliant on their businesses doing well. When they don't and taking into account the situation at present it can go sooo wrong. Fan owned any day of the week for me

I keep seeing Marsh Hughes name being mentioned but hasn’t he been out for a year with an injury? A seasoned goal scorer is a must if we’re to be succesful.

One season out of about 5 at that level?🤣🤣🤣 Fan ownership doesn’t work without investment look at wrexham, Hereford, Fc United, Telford etc etc Prime examples as to why it doesn’t work wish people would realise this

Without investment fan ownership will never work at this club it’s a proven fact... Furthest we’ll go is a relegation battling NL side It isn't a proven fact at all. We had one ‘successful’ season in the NL out of all the rest 2 of which we was relegated Notice how Wrexham, Telford Hereford Aren’t exaxtly setting the world on fire being tan owned...
