Excellent Proposal put together very well, I've signed up for the £20 a month, we only need 500 people at that level to smash the target. Time for us as owners to step up, no excuses.

100k in a month is a bit unrealistic this should’ve been started early May
Fingers crossed however

Any chance of getting a signed shirt somewhere in there? This is the minimum merchandise that should be included in all the packages above 5 pound per month

When I renewed my CFU membership about a month back, I opted to include an optional monthly donation. Will that count towards this scheme? I’d hope & imagine so but if not I’m in the shit position of either having to double my contribution (which I’m sure most would understand is a big ask) or feel a bit of a minge by stopping my donation to CFU. As I say I’m sure thIs is the plan but can anyone confirm?

Fantastic - said a few weeks back that the club needed to get this right and take their time.
One campaign with one voice, pushed as much as it can be - will be supporting this. Well done to those who put it together.

I too have signed up for £10 a month. So refreshing that our club are taking supporters’ ideas into account for a change. Our communication and engagement with fans has improved loads lately so hopefully we will keep it going. Let’s do this blues 🔵⚪️!

Already do Squadbuilder but signed up for £10 a month. Every little helps. Also a season ticket holder, do squadbuilder and seals lottery, so where is the best place for my £20 a month as a pensioner !! Maybe have to look at funds for additional £5 to bust the budget, hope the wife doesn't get to read this

When season tickets included 'free shirts' we sold the most since reforming. I'm not expecting much, I just think the packages on offer are a big hike compared to 12 quid a year and there needs to be more of a 'hook' to get more sign ups, otherwise it's just the same core people willing to get involved. Hope I'm proven wrong, I just can't see the level of interest when the best prize on offer is a meal with the gaffers!

Darlo’s campaign has £131,190 pledged from 707 investors.
That’s £15.46 per person per month.
We need to get ours really out there in the public domain and the jump from tier 3 to tier 4 does seem a bit much for what it is, but I think it’s a doable target.

£100k a good and, imo, an achievable target. Signed up for £20/month. Only fully realise really how much you miss watching the Blues when you can't!

Brilliant initiative. £20 a month = £240 a year x by 500 fans = £120,000 = voila

Brilliant initiative. £20 a month = £240 a year x by 500 fans = £120,000 = voila This. The amount of fans who stated "I go home and away every week but I'm not a member of CFU" when the votes were stopped for the takeover. If you can afford to go home and away every week you can afford £5 a week to help run the club. no pressure on meetings or votes, just backing the club in the purest sense. we're the owners we've go to start stepping up. 500 at average £20 a month should be more than achievable. Really impressed by how sensible this has been. All fundraising is good but taking our time and avoiding the "GoFundMe Tax" will only help centralise all efforts. Agree with others that the with the Lottery, Squad Builder and Sponsor a goal it adds up and hopefully the club will be open to listening to those people. I did £1 a goal last year (£2 for Academy) and it was near as damn £20 a month anyway. Seals lottery is different because you stand to profit if you so wish.

A few things that will help this succeed. Needs pinning Regular (every 1-2 days) updates especially in the first couple of weeks. This supersedes Squad Builder its the same thing so take away the duplicity. Don't try to reinvent the wheel. We've already copied Darlo so use their same, very successful, strategy to push this. Email campaign (GDPR allowing) Will there be a separate push to local businesses with different rewards for £150+ per month donation ie Player sponsorship, match day sponsorship, advertising board etc

Already doing £10 per month on CFU membership, topped up to the 20 with another 10 on boost the budget. Not sure if they are combined in some way, but not too concerned about the incentives, the incentive for me is having a half decent ( and hopefully better) team to support asap.

Just to pick up a couple of points raised, hopefully the following is useful:
1) At the moment Squad Builder will continue. This brings in a good and important sum and offers a different reward (update evenings with management team) and also allows people who wish to donate £5 or £10 a month to do so. We see Boost the Budget as an annual pre-season scheme and Squad Builder as a rolling annual scheme - time will tell if they can operate alongside each other and we will continue to review this. All of the monies raised through the two schemes go towards the first team budget.
2) Funds donated to CFU in terms of monthly or one-off contributions on top of your £12 go into general funds and are vital in helping the club meet operating costs and improving our financial resilience. This will continue as it is really important. The Boost the Budget contributions go towards the playing budget so there are two different ‘streams’. Both are equally critical to moving the club forward and we appreciate every donation. If you’d like to adjust your contributions to another scheme then I’m sure this can be arranged.
3) Boost the Budget is part of a wider fundraising strategy (the work the volunteers are done on this is brilliant) to ensure we have a coherent approach and there are a couple of other schemes in the offing that will have different ‘price points’ to ensure we cater for everyone. In addition the club is continuing to develop its commercial offer for businesses and local companies - I think it’s clear this is going to be a real challenge in the post-covid economy and if anyone has any leads, ideas or wants to get involved with this area please let us know.
