Tweeted on 12th May, so five out of the six. Didn't notice an announcement about Morgan myself though to be honest.

What a group of players we’ve got. 17/18 is a distant memory.

Just wanted to take a quick minute to say thank you on behalf of everyone at the club, to those that have either made a payment / pledged or even both, to the Boost the Budget campaign.
A great deal of work from a small group of people went into making this a real worthwhile campaign, and what a start we have seen!!
Hitting £57k is by no means no small feat and now it's all eyes on the next target of £75k before the big £100k comes up on the horizon -it's almost like the first goal of a hat trick has been scored today with us passing £50,000 - so there's the right footed effort into the bottom corner for starters.
Thank you again. If you haven't contributed or set up a monthly pledge yet, then please consider doing so. There are some great rewards on offer and the fundraising team will shortly be contacting those who have set up their donations for the various tiers.

Could we read too much into which players have openly contributed and which haven’t, in terms of who is still going to be here next season (whenever that happens)?
Dudley, Hughes, Taylor, Glendon, Kevin Roberts, Elliott, Waring, Jackson, Johnston, Marsh-Hughes, Goodwin and Morgan have all dug deep.
Burton, Stopforth and Gary Roberts yet to...

Something along the lines i was thinking to Roberts states in his OWS interview that everyone contributed. I'd be surprised if anyone has been told officially, as players who will be leaving could still be needed for play offs.

Averaging at £13.91 per person per month. So simple too.
Brilliant.

Kidderminster Harriers are doing a similar BTB campaign - theirs includes a 20-minute online FIFA match against a first team player for £30. I’m sure that would get a few takers for us. Hopefully we can add things like this, signed shirts, a one-on-one video QnA with a manager or player etc. Something different.

We should add one where you pay £2000-4000 perhaps and you get to design home shirt and it be worn for one first team fixture this season All the shirts worn get auctioned off after game all proceeds go club.

429 pledges, not people, too. Some have made a one-off donation plus a DD sign up.
Forget our average home crowd of 2,000, that's not even half of our season ticket holders signed up... yet.
The potential of this scheme is astronomical if EVERYONE collectively supports it.
I'm going to change my DD to a higher tier.

Before anyone has a moan this isn't a complaint. It's a brilliant amount we've raised so far, even though income for some people at the moment isn't forthcoming. But I thought we had over a thousand season ticket holders. If we've only got just over 400 people contributing, obviously not all season ticket holders, then where are the other 600. If just 500 more people joined at £5 a month then we could raise another £30,000 to take the total amount over £100,000.00. As I said, not a complaint, just an observation. To be a part owner of your own football club for £5 a month isn't too much to ask - is it?

Suspect there's a decent amount of kids in the 1,000 season ticket holders who aren't going to be able to contribute. The final £23,000 is going to be the hardest. Let's hope there's a surge after pay day to cross the line. Great effort so far.

We also have a lot of pensioners who are season ticket holders. The concessions enable a lot to attend every home game. Without this for some watching Chester would be unaffordable..

Excellent news this considering many people won't get paid until the end of the month so still plenty of pledges to be had. A reminder that this scheme has no barriers (except children) and is open to owners/non owners, season ticket holders/pay on the gaters, sitters/standers, players/fans....
