🏳️ I'm thinking of getting 2 flags dedicated to 2 Chester legends. I've chosen Harry Mac for the first banner, who we thinking for the second one #Blues? 🤔
Being 16 I didn't get to witness the magic of Rimmer, Barrow etc so I need some older fans' input please! Another one I was considering was Neil Young 3 in a row.
I would have said Rimmer, but given that you are going for Harry Mac (who managed the player), I would suggest going for an older player (Gary Talbot etc) or one celebrating the reformed club (Young, Wilde etc).

Some good suggestions from RBB though...!
I've narrowed it down to Neil Young or Stuart Rimmer. Rimmer because I believe he was one of our best ever players, and Young as... well, '3 in a row' does the talking.
I've done two brief banner designs, Harry Mac and Rimmer one, could change to Neil Young. (they're going to be portrait and held up by a stick either side). I'm not sure about what to add for some text for the Rimmer one. Any suggestions let me now, if he has a well-known quote, or maybe quite simply his goal-scoring record with us.
imo i don't believe you need another one alongside Harry Mac one.
Is there any point in young fans holding up a flag of a player who retired before they were born?
Come on, don't knock our efforts. We're showing an interest in the history of our great club. We are getting 3 large banners spelling out CFC and I thought we could have two club legends either side to show our club heritage - showing we have history unlike a Forest Green or Eastleigh.

forest green were founded in 1889,Eastleigh in 1946,think you will find they have plenty of history

What winning the 20th tier of non-league football? Existing and making history are two different things. They haven't achieved anything on the level we have. Every time I see you have quoted me, I have to prepare for something negative. Sigh.
He's only 14 so hasn't seen too much football. I can see why he's chosen Ross as he's probably our best striker since reforming. Up there with Wilde but obviously that was at lower level.

Wilde gave many young fans, including myself, the best few years and best memories we'll ever have of watching Chester, the league it was in is irrelevant. Ross Hannah is no where near being in the same category as Wilde. He absolutely loved this club and still does. He's the obvious choose for me. Was it 5 league hat-tricks he got in our first season? Maybe a a picture of Wilde, with the slogan 'The Wilde Thing' and 5 match balls to symbolise his hat-tricks.

we we're founded in 2010,we will never get back into the football league again so we will end up like Eastleigh etc, because eventually forest green will go up and probably find there level in league one

There's already a Harry Mc one with that exact image of it knocking about somewhere. It's probably sean the flags so might be worth contacting him before making another one up.

Yeah I can remember seeing one before, not got any contact with him I had my email passed onto someone who was hopefully going to find Sean for me but nothing came of it.
However I need these 2 banners to be a specific size to fit on sticks for my plan. So we'll just have two Harry Mac banners, double appreciation lol.

You're right, I only started to go to matches 7 years ago, hence I haven't seen many 'stars' similar to 20/30 years ago.

well that's just a waste of money having two
I need it a specific size to fit the sticks for a display, it can't be any random size, and also needs slits in the sides for sticks. It's only £14 and I'm contributing more than that myself so hardly a waste.
Or... given the fact we are in the Harry Mac terrace we could have the Harry Mac one, then the other one could be a silhouette of a fan with the wording, "The 12th man".
Did anyone who stood on that terrace get to see Stuart Rimmer play? I don't see why a banner should be made when the people at the main focus of it all are 16 year olds... Wildey, young and Captain Fantastic would be my favoured ones.. Possibly Martin Gritton.. ;-).
