On what basis do you say 'we SHOULD win' against Woking? Because we are at Home to a team beneath us in the league. We should win. I'm not saying we will, but we should. Doesn't mean a thing - we are at home against a team who are well above us in the Form Table and who are unbeaten in last 3 games.

But that doesnt matter because we won a few games post xmas so we dont need to win any games now according to our Manager

Look I'm not going to come on here and defend Macca, but I can understand someone telling a fan to stop being negative, but some of you lot telling people to stop being positive, calling them a clown etc, that's not really right.

Not one person expected to win the last 2 games (other than Riot) so Chill and get down the game Monday and invest your energy in getting the team over the line. Or cry foul on here. Up to you It's not really down to the last 2 games is it? Could be 13 defeats in 17 games and that we have haven't won at home since December, any other club the manager would be sacked.

If we had an investor owned Club he would be sacked no question - it's a results business simple as - Mccarthy has talked utter shite in his post match interviews and still has the backing of the board because they gave him a massive contract an can't afford to get out of it hence the silence the only way this can be resolved is if Mccarthy walks away and resigns and that's unlikely it's a stale status quo situation that I see no way through - what little respect Mccarthy had has evaporated with his recent interviews his refusal to accept responsibility and for both criticising any players during this horrendous hideous run

It's a long way back for McCarthy from here. Since the change in managerial team, our form has plummeted off a cliff. That in itself is bad enough, but when you start to argue with the media each game, make deluded statements game after game and then finish up by beginning to turn on the supporters, it's an awful long way back. I would like to think that he is feeling an awful lot of pressure internally, which is leading to this behaviour, but somehow I very much doubt it. The 'deluded one' is a complete fantasist and quite clearly, without the support of Sharps, is utterly clueless. Unfortunately, there are another deluded bunch at our club - commonly known as the board, led by our 'pipedream' CEO. They clearly bought into the fantasy and now look where we are. Very hard to stomach the thought of seeing JM and this bunch again next season. Football fans thrive off hope, that's what keeps us going. It's down to the club to give fans that leading into next season.

Over last 20 (a factor no bigger uses blah blah) Fair play it's been bad but wrexham worse and I can't see why everyone is getting dramatic

It's down to the club to give fans that leading into next season. We have had a few managers over the years, some good, some bad but McCarthy is the first in a number of years is to tackle the crowd and have a pop. I personally think this is a bad move and shows signs of pressure. As the manager you have to turn away from websites and fans booing, negative comments, etc. Fans don't want to hear the manager crying like a baby because fans are either booing or throwing a few comments towards the performances. You have to be narrow minded and stay strong, showing signs of weakness like this doesn't do anyone any favours and I fear since the comments about devachat more fans have lost respect for him and losing patience with him. It's a shame as up to then he had handled the media pretty well but its continued to get worse since and his interviews have been comical and embarrassing of late. We need this season to end Asaph and regroup quickly in the summer, let's get the fans back on board, I don't care whether it's a free game, cheap season tickets, whatever it takes. If McCarthy is still here and these players are present and if nothing new or dynamic is done then we in the shit which will no doubt see gates of 1500 regularly.

McCarthy has lost the majority of the fans with his recent comments and his team's disjointed and inept performances. His position is untenable. They are now just the ramblings of a person who doesn't appear to have a clue. The comments are becoming Gordon Hillesque and he was an offensive bastard to the fans!
If we don't go down this season we certainly will next if he's at the helm. If we by a minor miracle stay up then the likes of Hudson, George, Joyce and Richards will send us down in Southport style!

Monday will be the true test of Macca and the team imo. I have a feeling that he will set his team up to avoid defeat again, but the manager and players look devoid of ideas and need a spark from someone like Mahon.

Age isnt a major problem, lot's of volunteer's are of retirement age i think. Problem of it's easy to moan when a roll on the board require's a far more positive attitude.
And no i wont be putting myself forward as i dont have any particular skillset that could add anything to the club.Spouting opinion's on a forum like Donald Trump on the election campaign doesn't necessarily equip you for a job on the board does it?
