Purely out of curiosity, does anyone know how we, as a club, stand with the lockdown/restrictions as they are (at the moment)?
Given we "straddle" the border with Wales who've gone for a so-called fire break + Chester is in level 2.......... How do players and staff (from both us and Marine) negotiate the border to a) get to the ground and b) get into the ground and c) get onto the pitch? Like I said, it's just something that crossed my mind but in these strange times you never quite know what's what

Don't think Elite sport is affected by the Welsh lockdown.
However, it would be just our luck if England allows crowds back, Wales doesn't and we can't attend.

If I remember rightly, didn't we have to put the smoking ban into effect earlier that other grounds did because it came into effect in Wales before England?
The law can be very pedantic about Welsh and English soil. It may have been a wind-up but I've also seen suggestions over the years that strictly speaking, we should have signs and safety announcements in Welsh at the Deva.

Nice thread, made me chuckle. Had visions of having to take a tent to the next match just in case we couldn’t leave Wales/the ground! 👍
