The morning after the night before.
Rather naively, as it turns out, I decided to pan through pages 8-12 to see what, if anything, has been added to the debate on yesterday's debacle.
What I've come across is a thread which, like so many others, has deteriorated into the digital equivalent of a slanging match.
To someone more interested in views on the match/performance and what happens next, it becomes seriously hard work to sort the wheat out from the chaff.
I've no problem at all if people want to have a crack at others on here or the managers or the players or the world in general although, personally, I can't see what it ultimately achieves.
(Maybe there needs to be another part of DC specifically for this.)
I know that we block if we don't like things but, occasionally, even the most "volatile" contributors come up with little nuggets
But my point is that it doesn't take a lot for people to think "oh, I can't be *rsed trawling through this lot" and gradually contributors will gradually drift away.
If DC becomes hard work, then I fear for the future
Grumble over!
