For some reason Chester appear to play better under the floodlights so I think it will be a 2 - 0 win. I'd like to see Morgan, M. Hughes and Dudley brought into the team to bring some further pace.
Perfect chance for redemption after Saturday's early Halloween horror show.

We have to play both York and Gloucester away sometime during the season. I'd rather get it of the way early. York haven't had a fantastic start to the season and it is hard to judge Gloucester, as you wouldn't say that they have faced difficult opponents yet. You could say now is the time to play them away with there being no fans. Saying that, I doubt we'll be allowed in games all season.

No disrespect to Curzon, but this is the sort of game we should be winning by a few goals.
We need to get over this habit we have lately of starting off really brightly for the first 5 minutes then conceding first. It's as if we have a good first few minutes then everyone fancies getting on the end of a move, only to lose the ball with all the midfield over committed up front, then one big hoof from the opposition centre half and we're one down from the first opposition attack.
Saying that I reckon we'll win 3-1, no doubt conceding first after about 5 minutes from Curzon's first attack. Elliot (2) and Livesey to score.

People are getting very tetchy aren’t they? MPW isn’t even one of the “main” posters you’d associate with opinions that are perceived to be negative, and he’s right - if we do lose tonight the pressure will be on because we have two very difficult games coming next. He didn’t even mention the managers! What’s wrong with people lately? Shame the like button is gone and I’ve got to put a reply in to say this is a good post. Tonight is a game we should be winning. Don’t and we’ve got two of the toughest games all season to try and halt the slide - very possibly we could be looking at 5 games without a win - or even 5 losses on the bounce. That is pressure - they’ll already be feeling it tonight - nowhere has MPW suggested the managers are at risk though. Just trialing a reactions option as an alternative, you might not have clocked it if you are using the mobile version of the site as I can only get it embedded on the desktop version.

Are we able to see who rates our posts or not? No it doesn't have that function. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing, do we really need to know who thinks we are talking bollocks? It's just a bit of a play around with it at the moment, if we want to go back to the like system thats fine. Anyway, I'm derailing the thread here 😂

Noticed that all three Curzon fans are moaning at the pricing for the stream. Wait until they find out half of the teams in our league are charging the same, or more in some cases 🤡.

I think the pricing is spot on. Anyone who says it's too much needs to get a grip on the reality clubs like ours are facing.
Curzon are one of the clubs that have done very nicely thank you from the bail out and probably making more than if fans were in attendance? Maybe they'd like to give us some and we can think about giving away the streaming.
EDIT: Yes, they are sixth in the table of beneficiaries. They get £78 per fan, compared with our £17. Looks like one of the 'three fans' is a United supporter anyway!

Looks like he'll have to find the earth shattering £2.04 extra than it would cost if it was streamed from Tameside instead.

In fact Hereford have put a pay either £10, £15 or £20 option on their streaming in case they catch fans in a generous mood.

I want a number of changes be seen tonight after the car crash of the weekend. The only solice was Marine being handed a bum draw.
Please get Morgan and Marsh Hughes in. Bauress and Jacko where they should be. I wouldn’t against Roberts come in at centre back for Grand as worry how many games in a short space him and Livesey can do together.
We badly need a life and a spark with Elliott and Jackson back in his favourite spot. His confidence has taken a knock since Johnston came in.

Which clubs are charging more? From what I have gathered Hereford FC, Chorley, Kettering Town, and Southport all charge more than us 👍.

Full strength for Curzon. The likes of Mason, Waters, Mahon, Stephenson, Harrop, Turnbull, Curran and the on-fire Knowles all starting. I really hope people don’t expect this to be a walkover.
Going for a sneaky 2-1 win, Livesey & Waring.

Gray, K.Roberts, Taylor, Weeks, Livesey, Grand, Johnston, Glendon, Elliott, Waring, Jackson - subs Morgan, Dudley, G.Roberts, Hughes, Bauress
Marsh Hughes not even in the squad and Bauress a natural left footer on the bench when the 2 guys playing out wide struggle to play on the left, go figure!

Not trying to be too critical, but can anyone tell me why we extended Hughes contract? He must be on fair wedge, but never plays... I just think he's an expensive sub, but genuinely hope he gets minutes soon

No Lacey on the bench, I have a feeling he will get poached by another club. I think he would have been in our most effective midfield too. We need that type of player, can’t keep clean sheets with the front 6 who started against Marine

The team selection is really starting to get on my tits. Some players can't get anywhere near the team and others can't get dropped. Doesn't exactly provide much incentive to push yourself whether you're in or out of the team. Really hope one or two repay the (blind?) faith being shown in them.

Is he still suspended? There’s a 7 day grace period and he was ill during that period.

No Morgan in the line up, No LMH in the squad. Brad B dropped.
Jeez. Meanwhile Roadrunner plays against.
One change in total, disappointing against a side who won’t play to disimilar to Marine and have a decent line up.

Is he still suspended? There’s a 7 day grace period and he was ill during that period. I read somewhere he has served his suspension and was available for selection thought if he played we could push Glendon and Weeks further forward instead of them dropping back and taking the ball off our centre backs deep in our own half.
