Gotta hope the tangerine pillock gets sent packing and we can just put that down to a very sorry chapter in America's history. With the way he bangs on about election fraud though, and the way his supporters behave, I do worry that a Biden win could be just the start of the fun.

Still, the alternative is Trump and that's where the argument ends for me.

One thing I find surreal is that the Republicans keep accusing Biden of anti-fracking, and Biden keeps insisting he isn't.
It seems the wrong way round that being anti-fracking is a vote-loser over there, and makes you wonder about how certain factions of the US media set the narrative. I get it if you work in the industry and are worried about your job, but why would the average punter be pro-fracking? It seems very strange to me.

It's not looking too good is it? Trump expected to hold Ohio (which usually reflects the national vote) and has increased his lead in Florida. More Latinos voting for him apparently. The mind boggles!

I do wonder sometimes if the only way to counter this populist right trend around the world is to have a sort of left-wing Trump up against them.
Imagine somebody like Liam Gallagher, or Jason Williamson from Sleaford Mods, just getting up in the House of Commons and literally telling the Tories to fuck off. He'd get ejected from the house, but people would vote for him!

Trump is just deranged.
The fact he thinks he can just stay in office by shouting to his supporters and threatening court is laughable. I would say id like to see it play out so he ends up in jail, but the level of violence and hatred just wouldn't be worth it

There are reports of 3 hour queues (standing in line) at polling stations. You are a self employed mechanic with a car on your ramp with the gearbox out. Do you go to vote, or earn your money with the repair; effectively financially disenfranchised. So, anticipating this, you vote by post. No fraudulent manipulated behaviour,just pragmatism. |

I think I'm right in saying if Biden wins Arizona, Wisconsin and Nevada, he's got the 270 he needs whatever happens in the other states. He's currently leading in all three, although only narrowly in Nevada. Plus many of the votes still to be counted are from big cities and postal votes, where he's expected to dominate.
Looking better than it did this morning.
