Some deals you can smell a rat from the off...but to be fair wrexham looks a pretty solid bet...the Hollywood guys have set their store out and it looks a fabulous way forward for the club...I’ve always been a very staunch fan owned supporter ...but to have much success on that platform seems pretty remote...we personally just haven’t got enough fans to make it work..we just plunged from crisis to crisis... And didnt we all jump up and down when SV announced he had paid the mad yank off once and for all. Absolutely right in what you are saying, but far to many clubs are being bank rolled now ,it just doesn’t give the fan ownership model a chance...we could wait decades until we get in the FL, wrexham have in my opinion got the right people in who have shown their desire for the town and the club ,they’ve got the right tools and cash to make it work....but most importantly...with this horrid virus around...without them...they could and probably would go out of business by this time next year...

WST need to ensure they’re in a strong position to be able to hold the club to account going forward. Of course, for me, the ideal scenario is for every club to be owned/majority owned by their supporters.

Going to be difficult I think for WST. A lot of Wrexham’s fanbase have turned against them while they ran the club and, therefore, any concerns they voice in future about the state of the club will be met with suggestions they are jealous and people pointing out the errors the WST made when running the club.
At the moment it seems like everything points ahead to a bright future for Wrexham, but there’s no guarantees it will pan out like that and the WST certainly needs to be prepared to act if it does go wrong at any point.

I think you are spot on with this post.

Point of order. A vociferous minority have turned against certain individuals, past and present board members. That’s a big difference to turning against the fan ownership ideology itself. The vast majority of supporters recognise the good work the WST have done in what at times have been difficult. Having said that, everyone realises that mistakes have been made along the way. Mistakes will still be made even with the Hollywood ownership.

After drawing 0-0 against Hartlepool who are above them in the table, and despite having risen from lower mid table to the play off places, 95% of 380 polled wanted the manager and other coaches sacked ! Apparently the football is too dull.

It is worse than dull, No plan A never mind plan B. Saturday 1st half was terrible someone must of mentioned the bonus because it was a better second half. i
