Good game. Terrible defending from us again but a couple of excellent goals. Bigger fish to fry tomorrow.

Great game to watch but massively frustrating result - weakness at corners and in defending against runners let’s us down again.

I've said it a thousand times & I shall say it again defensively this team is an absolute shambles! Also how many times is that this season where we have either taken the lead or got back into the game only to capitulate moments later. I've lost count, very open game & very entertaining but when are these players going to learn to stay switched on for 90 minutes ffs!!

Entertaining game but have most of these other clubs gone down the route of streaming on the cheap buying cameras with no zoom option. Spent most of the game struggling to see where the ball is. I only knew when a goal was scored because the net moved!

Well, an away point I suppose, but a poor performance. Very, very poor defensively, and for once the midfield didn't click, apart from the odd flash here and there. The number of times we gave possession away was just infuriating. All the questions about concentration, defending set pieces still there.
I expect the season to become null and void in the next day or so, so it will probably be of no consequence anyway, but it would have been nice to finish with a win, if that's what happens.

We could could have lost that game after it went to 2-2 so fair play for at least battling in the end, they do tend to take points off the top teams so let’s see what tomorrow brings.

Small clubs either can't afford to or are happy to have it badly done but reap the financial benefits. I don't watch them unless professionally set up.

Would have taken a point before the game...they have beaten some of the top teams at home...but very frustrating to throw away 2-0, show great character to get ahead again and then not manage the game out. I guess that's what you get with this team. Can't give them any grief after going over there on a filthy night knowing it's probably for nothing.

Great game that, Probably a deserved result as 2-0 at half time flattered us. Their commentators certainly enjoyed it. As for the goals conceded two bobbled deflections and a well worked corner. Two great goals for us but probably the worst 15 minute spell of the season cost us in the 2nd half.
Thought all the subs did well and helped us wrestle the game back in our favour and Morgan looks much more comfortable on the right going forward. Askew impressed as well.
I think with Livesy or Taylor playing today we win that. Plastic Pitch in horrid conditions and a key injuries. They've had few good results at Home against top teams. By no means as terrible a result as many on this board will make it. Bigger issues afoot lets see what happens tomorrow.

It's not rocket science, when the ball is on the far side of the pitch just zoom in a bit. There is no problem on the streams we produce so why can't the others do it as well. It's like trying to watch a game from the back row of Wembley all the while.

Mixture of emotions there. Firstly, hats off to both sets of players who must be thoroughly miserable at the prospect of no more football and being on furlough and their whole season wasted......both teams went for it hammer and tongs and put on great entertainment, well worth a fiver.
I was a little bit worried with how we set up tonight as without Livesey or Taylor we only had one player of decent height in Grand so I was fully expecting us to get done on a set piece and that's where their first goal came from. We didn't manage the game well at all, it really wasn't the night for tapping it about on the edge of the area when the ball was like a bar of soap and BPA dispossessed us in dangerous areas far too many times. Their second goal was a shambles, we had enough bodies back to not let the lad waltz through like that. Askew and Morgan were bombing on at every opportunity and a few times they're actually crossing it to each other - it's great to watch but did leave us badly exposed on the counter at times. Can understand the benefit of Kevin Roberts at right back who gives us a bit more balance there, and maybe harness Morgan's attacking energy further forwards, especially in the absence of Jacko.
At 2-2 I felt both sets of management had an air of this being the last game so fuck it lets go for it, and the last 20 mins was car crash football. Both teams throwing men forward and getting caught on the counter, proper Kevin Keegan stuff. And it nearly paid off for it with an unreal strike from Morgan. Gutted for the lads that once again we couldn't manage the game better - we had the opportunity to take it in the corner flag but Glendon cut into the area and tried to wrap it up, and ultimately a minute later they've grabbed a scruffy equaliser but on the balance of play you can't deny BPA were worth their point.
Fantastic entertainment, but I'm not sure my heart could have taken any more of it. Obviously it's frustrating to blow the lead twice, but it really all kind of feels a bit irrelevant tonight given what's going on so probably not point dwelling on it too much and just appreciate what was a cracking game in difficult circumstances. If somehow we do end up travelling to Blyth on Saturday and get a win then 4 points from 2 away trips up north would be a decent return. There are bigger battles to be fought before then, one which I don't expect to be won this time.

Don't know how much Video Camera work you've done but from my limited experience with filming sports unless auto focus is bang on, it's incredibly difficult to zoom in and out while tracking the play and being prepared to move for distance passes such a crosses it's certainly not easy. We are very lucky with our Camera work, for a fiver don't think it was too bad. If its zoomed in on the far side and cross come in and you miss the goal to being out of focus or being unable to zoom out in time everyone is going to complain.

I'm not against that formation, and I fondly remember Mark Wright playing that one, but you need the personnel and on the odd occasion we've done it then it's badly exposed Livesey and Grand.

It's about how we play against these lower table teams not how the other top sides do. Also if you don't think that is a terrible result when your team throws away a 2 goal lead within the space of 5 minutes & then throw away an additional 2 points with a minute to go then what does warrant a terrible result? They aren't a good side from what I saw so are you really happy with that?

It's a draw, a loss is a terrible result, this is a game we should of held on to win and conceded a deflected own goal in the last minute. A terrible result is losing to them 3-0 not drawing 3-3. There can be a middle ground between terrible and excellent. and this sits in the lower half of that scale. I'm not happy but I'm not so angry I'll start arguments on the forum over it. As is so often stated on this board... it's my opinion. Unless I'm mistaken form and the previous results of teams both home and away can be factored in to measure how effectively your result stacks up in corresponding fixtures... It's at the least a little bit relevant how other top teams in this division have stacked up against them.

I understand that's your opinion, you are welcome to have your say. I also want to state that in no way am I trying to start an argument. I actually like a lot of what you say on here. Again you make a good point about it not being a terrible result but a terrible result can come in many forms & as I have mentioned the position we were in at half time & with a minute to go I think coming away with only a point is a terrible result. We may agree to disagree on that but I get fed up with this team throwing so many points away when we seemingly have them in the bag. Let's hope we get the win against Blyth my friend.

You don't zoom and pan at the same time. When the ball is on the far side of the pitch you set at mid zoom still keeping the near side of the pitch viewable for when play moves there. Tonight it was on full zoom out and left there, it's like watching from right at the back. That's what zoom is for to make the subject easier to see with no sudden movement of the camera, that's when focus is lost. I'm no professional but I've used video cameras over the years and could do a lot better than that!

Need to play Taylor in defence, gives us height and mobility, but it may be irrelevant, unless we can get grants, rather than loans.

BPA seem to pull it out of the bag against the better teams so despite it feeling like two points dropped it isn’t the end of the world - especially when it contained two candidates for goal fo the season by us.
I know that from a technical perspective we were lacking in defence but as others have said, to traipse over there in awful weather to play a game which may be academic and to give it their all is what makes me proud of this squad and being a Chester fan....and faith that whatever happens today there are enough of us that feel the same way that we will somehow find a way for football to continue at the Deva for a long time to come.

Jesus I didn't even realise they scored the 3rd must have been when I went to make a cup of tea Same here I ran around the house with my shirt over my head and wearing my wireless earphones when I got to the kitchen I lost the signal so I went back into the living room and my wife gave me one of those your a knobhead looks ( women just don’t understand) so by the time I got back on the whistle had just gone and they said it was 3-3😔. So I’m 65 now but it doesn’t feel any different than when I was standing in the Sealand Road watching us against Leeds.
