Alan, thanks for your all your hard work and effort on our behalf. I hope that you haven't been driven out by the constant sniping and unconstructive negativity that some people seem to thrive on. Your efforts to communicate more directly with the wider fan base is to be applauded, but sadly these initiatives where officers of the club are more open are double edged swords. I wish you well Alan and hope that you are still around supporting the club which clearly means a lot to you, and that you don't disappear from the scene as several other disillusioned former board members seem to have done. Folks we need to better support these guys and girls who put themselves forward to keep our club going. No support, no club!!

I'm not sure if any previous board members would stand again but it would be a good if they could or even just given background advice.

Just when you think things are going pretty well off the field for the first time in a couple of years, this bombshell is dropped. Well done for your efforts Alan and he strides made as regards to communications with supporters (something we've been crying out for for a while) has been commendable. It's never going to be perfect and there's always going to be an element who will be hard to please but can't fault Alan's effort in the short space of time that he was chairman. Does beg the question, "What actually is going on?" behind the scenes. There appears to be a lot of unrest at the football club at the minute and I'm sure what's happening on the pitch isn't helping matters either. As for Banksy taking over? I doubt it. He has a young family and I don't think he could commit the time to the role. He'd do a great job, no doubt about it, but I don't think he possibly could do it (and I mean that in the nicest way)

He just sits in the background doing very little releasing statements saying he's protecting the club blah blah He's the main route of the off field issues - He is not needed at all.
