Anyone had this and filled it in yet?
Obviously the gender identity stuff is new, but I don't remember there being so many questions about work last time. Also found it a bit odd that it asked whether my five-year-old daughter was providing any unpaid care for anyone!

Had mine but not done it yet, that does seem an extremely strange question regarding your daughter though |

Yes the same questions for all members of the household regardless of age - my three children don’t provide any care for anybody unless I’m absolutely steaming (haven’t been since lockdown 🙃).
In this day and age of a government increasingly and unashamedly hurtling towards fascism, I’m somewhat suspicious of them having to know (not “wanting” but “having”... the census is a legal requirement) about the nationality and ethnic makeup of specific households to be honest.

I have been doing a bit of family research during lock down and the census is a good source of information. I was looking at one and they had a 15 year old daughter, where it asked for her occupation her father had written. She does as she pleases 1881.somethings never change.
