My money would be on Morrison - he’s done well to break the TNS stranglehold in Cymru, two years in a row now. He wasn’t giving much away when asked about extending his contract straight after the final whistle of the title-winning last game of the season.
Only thing is I know for a fact the Goats fans will be calling for his head within two months because of his style of play. It ain’t easy on the eye.

I think they will eventually regret selling thenselves out to a Hollywood production model. This can't end well. And when it doesn't, they'll sell up, another chancer will come in, and they'll be back where they started. Should of stayed fan-owned.

There needs to be some entertainment on the park or the fans will fall away. Some may be happy with what is served up week in week out but many arn't. One thing is for sure I don't miss the Saturday experience as much now as I did when the season ended. I am sure there are many season ticket holders thinking the same way and unless there is a chance of being competitive I won't be renewing.....

You didn't think last season was entertaining? 5-3 wins, coming from two goals down? I think we only failed to score in one game, and there were some great goals as well. There may be some truth in what you're saying but I think you're being unfair. It comes across that you're saying you want things to change but you want someone else to do it. The only way things are going to get better is if fans like you keep up your support.

I would ignore him , as it stands with Keates and Co gone I fully expect that we will sell twice as many season tickets this comming season depending of course on the dreaded Welsh government quota figures regarding social distancing. Keates was a disaster with an assistants that hadn't a clue . New CEO starts tomorrow so expect great things to happen from now on with a much more professional aproach to running the club and a team to be proud of once again.

Let’s just enjoy our gloating before we start debating what they might or might not do ffs Quite. They've had enough fun at our expense over the years, so let's make the most of what's really, really funny right now. There's no money anyway. They didn't pay for the club, they put £1million into a company they were given for free. They paid themselves 😂

Apparently Casey Stoney is to be named the new manager this week. Odds have been slashed and has been in talks with the owners.

Exactly. I don’t think any of their fans expected them to go strolling to the title when R&R only took over two or three months ago, with a transfer window, towards the end of the current season. No, it’ll all be on next year. Just wondering. Some of the Goats fans are under the illusion that R&R are Bankrolling them next season?

I noticed they posted a loss of £740k due to the pandemic, even Kidderminster have made a loss of over 400k. I wonder when our accounts will be released?

First female manager in professional English football would make great TV too. Suppose Wrexham fans need to question whether R&R are genuinely wanting success for the club or TV ratings.
I’ve put a fiver on at 33/1 - it’s dropped to 16/1 within an hour.

Suspect it won’t happen anyway, but do wonder how receptive Wrexham fans would be if their club did appoint Casey Stoney as manager. Their fanbase seems to contain an element which doesn’t come across as the most open minded.
Gut feeling is they will go for someone with proven experience of managing in the National League and above. Nigel Clough seems to be a current favourite, although I’m not sure if that’s just people connecting that he previously worked with the incoming CEO at Burton and are trying to put two and two together: Mansfield are in the EFL and presumably closer to Clough’s home, but if Wrexham offered him an attractive salary and budget then it remains to be seen if he would be swayed.

If you're just talking about pride, I would say you should have had more of it before. Sustaining a club just from the efforts of supporters is something to be very proud of - more so than having it bought out by two celebrities with no connection to the club or area. What you have now is more glamour, which arguably is worth sacrificing a bit of pride for, but I think supporters of fan-owned clubs should really hold their heads higher about what they are achieving.
