Exactly ,I hope he takes them for every penny he can get. Oh and of course reverts to the form he showed before his one season wonder at Cambridge Correct - just one excellent season. If he repeats that at this 'lower' level, then fair enough. But I was reading that there were a couple of decent Cambridge players who were putting chances 'on a plate' for him last season. If the service isn't the same, he could revert to mediocrity. Not really that much difference in level from L2 to Conference. Most teams tend to have big strong well organised defenders, maybe better than those in much of L2. At 26, a 3 year deal is probably good business for both parties. When you are used to the calibre of Wes Hoolahan playing behind you (even if he's late 30s) then there's no doubting it makes it easier to score goals. I remember in the past when we signed prolific strikers at other clubs (Simon Yeo, Lee Steele etc) it didn't always work out cos we lacked creative quality behind them, or tactically didn't play to their strengths. Some strikers are good enough to create their own chances, but Mullin's career stats make me think that's not the case with him, so will depend on what style Parkinson plays and what quality they can bring in behind him. A few Wrexham fans I know felt they were very defensive last year and terrible on the eye, so presumably they'll need some significant recruitment in midfield to get the best out of Mullin. It would be a terrible shame if they paid him 4k a week and he reverted to his usual 5 or 6 goals a season

Find it amazing how some on here quote players wages when they haven't got a clue.Do they ask the players themselves?Of course not. Then you get the secondary clowns who then go on to quote the " guessed " wages as actual fact ? Dead funny but at least entertaining for some of them 😂

Anybody believing that Mullin has gone to Wrexham for only 2.5K per week needs to give their head a shake. The thing about Wrexham fans is that they will genuinely believe his head was turned by those famous European nights in the 1980s. 2.5k basic plus add ons Hes had a bit of gravy for coming here That keeps the tax man quiet Plus a goal bonus, goals, appearance money and the big promotion. It could earn him 5k plus.

3k at Cambridge a club in the financial shite, like most clubs due to covid. Give your head a wobble lad. 2.5k is approx his basic, he has had a sweetener to up sticks, the rest is made up of appearance, goals, promotion. What's more shocking is you're on a rival forum at 7am. Talking about a global club.

Folk in Weaverham have not heard of you lot.As someone quite rightly said You ain't a football town Just a city lost between Wales and Liverpool with a vile accent

No problem with Wrexham fans joining the debate but, please, spare us the kindergarten stuff or stick to RP.

You'd think they'd resolve their differences, given that the food is the best thing about the place. Mind you the pies sold out before kick off on occasions as I recall. Generally, football catering is still in the dark ages.

He’s better than that surely?
Something weird about Askew and Chester last season - the way he left made it seem like he had a better offer elsewhere, then all of a sudden he trained with us and played our last pre-season friendly, now he’s dropped two divisions.
