If anyone travels with someone regularly to games it worth buying a Two Together Railcard.
I’ve had a few now. Only £30 for the year, you can pay for that with one journey.
Saved me £50 on a trip to London in June so paid for itself in one journey. Saved me the same for Bishops Stortford.

For Banbury buy a Nuneaton return which is valid via Birmingham. Then a Moor st to Banbury. Much cheaper. And if you regularly travel with a mate get a two together Railcard. Unless you're young or old enough to have your own Railcard 😂

Some Chester to Leeds tickets over the next few weeks currently available for £1. Might help anyone going to Tadcaster or Boston.

Best I’m getting for that date is £21.50 return. The £1 tickets seem to apply to every weekday in September but only the following two weekends after our Cup tie.

Anyone know the best way to get to tadcaster from Leeds? I’m thinking Leeds to Church Fenton and then taxi from there. Although granted I’m not sure how good the taxi service is in church Fenton…

Journey is about 40 minutes to Tadcaster. £3 single.

The Northern Rail sale is on again for trips between January 10th and March 1st.
It's worth having a mess about to see what you can do. For example, if you buy a split ticket via Manchester Victoria, I think it's possible to get from Chester to New Pudsey for less than a tenner when we play Farsley on February 17th.

You can get a return to Scunthorpe for as little as £30.40 on Trainline for March 2nd. Will be the first time I haven’t done an away league game on the Hipkiss.

Just seen there is some sort of train strikes on Saturday by aslef Friday.
Overtime ban on Northern and LNER Saturday. It's Trans Pennine to Scunthorpe.
The Northern services from Chester to either Stockport, Manchester or Warrington (depending on which way you're going) look unaffected.

For the away games at Brackley (Banbury) or Gloucester it's cheaper to get a Nuneaton return which is valid via Birmingham. Then Moor St to Banbury on Chiltern trains. And for Gloucester split at Worcester parkway!
