Anyone doing a preview? Rio?
Big game this.
Battling 2-2, with 570 blues. Would have said 800 blues but for the all ticket situation

Tough one this after last week 1-1 would be a good result with 497 Blues in attendance

Was just about to write my match preview funnily enough ๐
! Feeling much more reassured about our chances of getting a result tomorrow given we finally got that monkey off our back, with our thrilling last gasp win over Alfreton Town last weekend. It was crucial we got that first victory sooner rather than later, so as a result of that hopefully we will head into this encounter with more confidence amongst our camp, because had we not won last week I couldnโt bear to imagine how the mood would be. Victory Park is always a tough place to go to, and we will have to be all the more wary given Chorley annihilated Gloucester City 9-0 last weekend, however this current Chorley outfit is nothing too special compared to the side who got promoted a few seasons ago. Therefore, I believe we donโt have anything to fear about so itโs important we go all out for the win, because if we do secure our first away success then we really will be well on our way to the play-off spots. Our last match was on Saturday where we won 3-2 at home against Alfreton Town in what was a pulsating final twenty minutes. The first half was really quiet considering our presence near the penalty box was limited up until we scored before half time. Twenty minutes in Josh Clackstone was a whisker away from making it 0-1 to Alfreton Town, as his curler skimmed the top of the crossbar. Bang on the half hour mark we managed to capitalise on that missed opportunity for the away side, as James Hardy poked into the far corner to make it 1-0 to us. Not much action ensued after that, thus we headed into the interval with our noses slightly in front. Meanwhile, the second period was much more eventful given four goals were scored in the final twenty minutes, as well as a red card. Into the final twenty minutes Danny Livesey got sent off for us, and although I thought it was the correct decision it luckily got overturned yesterday. With ten minutes to go Matt Rhead struck in an unstoppable strike for Alfreton Town to make it 1-1. However, we retook the lead only a minute later as Declan Weeks curled home a beauty to make it 2-1 to us. With only two minutes of normal time left Matt Rhead came back to haunt us for Alfreton Town to make it 2-2, as his header looped all the way in. Another twist was to follow though, as Dan Cowan headed home in injury time to make it 3-2 to us; sparking absolute pandemonium. An immense way to end a heart stopping finale, but on the whole we did deserve the three points over the opposition. Chorley have made an inconsistent beginning to the new campaign, as the Lancashire side currently find themselves sat outside the play-off places with two wins and two defeats thus far. Even though last campaign was halted early due to Covid-19, The Magpies occupied the final play-off spot in their attempt to launch an immediate return back to the Vanarama National League. Our opponents were also one of only two teams to beat us at the Deva, with Gateshead being the other, so they certainly had something about them. We will also be up against one former Seal at Victory Park tomorrow afternoon, who is Andy Halls. Left back Andy joined us from Macclesfield Town in May 2017 where, after a really poor start, I thought he was one of our better performers in the second half of that torrid season. Andy was released from us in June 2018, while in June of last year he signed for Chorley from Curzon Ashton, which is where he has been at ever since. Although Halls deserved a lot of respect for agreeing to waiver his contract for us, I havenโt got any time for him now given he was mocking us the other week and has also said some unsavoury things about us in the past. I was hoping for an away following of 400+ tomorrow, however due to the ridiculous all-ticket arrangements that were only decided just days before the encounter, I will be surprised if we surpass that figure. Hopefully though we can still take a decent-ish following as our lads deserve our full support throughout the whole game, because if we do manage to win tomorrow then that will put out a statement to the rest of our league. I purchased my ticket an hour ago, so I canโt wait to travel up there now as it should be a good away day out. Not sure why thereโs a few โChorley 0โ predictions - we look like we will always concede. Will take a point here, always a tough place for us to go.

In theory there should be a few goals. Not sure what to make of their 9-0 win last weekend. Watching the highlights on YouTube there were some great finishes, but Gloucester look incompetent and as if there's something not right.
Will go for a score draw.

1-1 with 1,562 in attendance.
I also predict that 30 Chorley lads will aggressively shake a metal fence until it falls over, then stand there wondering what to do next, despite the path being clear to get to the subject of their angst.

A 2-2 draw for me. Crowd of 1250 with 370 Chester. Dudley and a late Livesey equalizer.

Chorley had 1200 home fans v Gloucester, and just won 9 nil, that should give them a good 1500 home.
We took 325 to Kiddie on a Monday with terrible form. Chorley half the distance, and on the back of a home with I predict 2k tomorrow

Small steps after last weeks improved performance. We can't keep a clean sheet so 2-1 Chorley. 389 Chester.

Another team to play at the wrong time at the back end of a 9-0 win. Not sure which Chester will show up but at this moment i'll be happy with a point on the road.

Canโt be there today as Iโm away but letโs hope for a good 250-350 of blues.
Iโll take a 1-1, a solid point and a good performance.

541 formation? 3 Centre backs, Cowan & Askew full backs, Stephenson lone striker? I'm guessing after Chorley's 9-0 win last week, we're starting very defensive as a precaution

Don't know how Clark gets a game, a walking card and an ale house footballer on what I have seen so far, very slow and "limited"
