I've had an email saying all former season ticket holders and people who've bought online from the club shop can get in for £10 against Boreham Wood.
I also see on Facebook that all season ticket holders can bring somebody for £5 entrance.
Both are positive moves from the club, but why on earth do you have to e-mail the club to secure your ticket? That will put people off and seems needless? We're hardly going to break our capacity and it'd be so much easier to just turn up with a mate, show one season ticket book and hand over your £5.

I imagine it's so that the details of these people can be added to a database for future mailing. However, I agree with your point.

So if uve never bought online or had a season ticket you have to pay full price? Only our shambles of a club could come up with this

Laughable . . . so you could have made one purchase on line and never been to a game . . . but please come along and pay a tenner whilst people who may have been to most games pay £15/£18???

Mark McGuire spoke at the CFU meeting about finding out who the casual supporters / non-CFU members were. So possibly gathering email info is his way of doing it.

Fools ^ everything the club does you are not happy. I agree it's annoying the email thing as you'll see on the Facebook event with my comment, but it does allow the club to collect data on the floating fans.
I hope we can develop a new system for this, but I'm pretty sure we were told online ticket sales were coming and this could be utilised to redeem offers like this, such as entering your email and address to redeem the offer.
Certainly positive moves by the club though.

The club are starting to get a database together of floating fans who we can target. An obvious move which has taken the club a while to do.

Was gonna go but can't be arsed with the emailing lark. Last game of what has been a pathetic season the club should just let everyone pay at the turnstile and get a decent gate, should do the data base crap next season.

To be fair, we could do this and just hope the football does the talking and they enjoy it and come back. But can you see us entertaining everyone, or should I say anyone? 😂

Laughing at the pathetic attempts at downing a teenagers optimism and positivity is a better way of putting it. The people I just called fools are having a pop at the club for something we have all asked for. What a JOKE!

Apologies upfront for the "heard it from a friend who heard it..." Was at the car boot sale at the club today, well attended by the way, and was talking to a club employee who seems sure that the entrance fee is going up to £20 next season. Make of that what you will.

I'm sure there'd be many Devachatters on here who'd go quiet if Macca did well next season.

So I'm not a season ticket holder this or last year and haven't purchased anything online but pay at the turnstiles everything I go regularly and I'm rewarded with full priced admission yet if Joe blogs who bought a pin badge on line will be rewarded with reduced admission- oh dear me - still I will be there
