This is why we need to send him out on loan. If those clubs are “watching” him they’re not seeing much at the moment! Bet his little fan club on here are in their basements now with a box of tissues. ? I'm gutted he's not playing - for us or someone else. Best young keeper I've see in a long time. You sound like you're gloating that he's not playing which seems a bit like trying to start an argument in an empty room. Odd to be taking pleasure from the fact that he's out of the team - surprised you haven't moved on.

Tyrer is the better keeper, but that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t have Stanway between the sticks. I’ve never heard of anyone ‘gutted’ a keeper isn’t playing 😂😂😂

If the lad has so many admirers it is a waste that he's not playing for someone on loan at least to put him in the shop window.

Smacks of an agents story that in the Sun. Be good to bring a nice lump in though for the lad. Good prospect, but not in Tyrers league for me. Tyrer is the best keeper I've seen at the Deva in a long time.

Aye we’ve had some success with Everton loan keepers to be fair.

I do feel that if he’s not playing at the moment then Stanway should go out on loan to have regular game time with a 24 recall if required.
Playing every week will only benefit the player massively,

Whats your issue with Stanway? Great young talent and always give us 110%, Hasn't even put a foot wrong for us either.

Same can be said for Tyrer too. Great that we have two great goalkeepers, one is evidently better than the other from what I’ve seen of both so far. But for Stanway he needs games so we need to loan him out.

Both keepers are very good. But for me Stanway edges it, particularly if he is given a run in the team. Tyrer is excellent but, being hyper critical, he is sometimes hesitant with corners of fast crosses. I would play Stanway and, if some Clubs are interested, that could up the asking price. Keep Tyrer on his toes too...

Would imagine Everton dictate that to some extent.
They won’t loan a keeper who was on the bench as second choice numerous times in the Premier League last season only to have him sitting on our bench in the NLN.

You got into rows last season over this keeper and now you think it's appropriate to laugh at my perfectly reasonable observation. At least you got a like off your mate for it. It puts me off the forum so much when you get childish over your pet topics, but I've told you before the effect it's had on many previous members. I'm gutted he's not playing but Tyrer is a better keeper. I think he could make us a lot of money and the sooner he is playing on loan the better. You two...

Tyrer absolutely looks the part and the fact he's made the bench at Everton tells you exactly how good he is.
However, if there is any truth to these rumours whatsoever, you do wonder whether we should be making the most of a saleable asset in Stanway. Much like Sam Hughes an Harrison Burke being made captain/leadership group, it will only increase value if we end up going to a tribunal If Wyll plays 35+ games this season.
It'd be really harsh on Tyrer, but if there's a decent fee to be had then we need to make sure we get it.

That's why I was surprised we signed Tyrer, we've got an admittedly better keeper but probably at the expense of Stanway's development. Now that Tyrer's here though, I agree with him being picked ahead of Stanway. It's a long season though and I'm sure there will be opportunities.

young keepers quite often get sold to premiership clubs without ever playing a game for their original club ,they see the potential on a tall young keeper and take a gamble

I got a bit fed up of some of the Stanway stuff last season because although Gray wasn't great, I felt like some fans were just moaning at him every time a goal went in against us. There's no need to drag it back up now though.

On the subject of agents, I note that the following person has recently fallen foul of the FA - 9 August 2022 INCIDENT OF MISCONDUCT IN RELATION TO INTERMEDIARY ACTIVITY Nathan Woodworth, Registered Intermediary
Two breaches of FA Rule E1.2 - It is alleged that the Participant entered into Representation Contracts without the requisite authorisation contrary to Regulation 3.1 at Appendix II – Registration of Intermediaries. The Participant has until 23 June 2022 to provide a response. Result 3 Month Suspension from Intermediary activity £200 Fine

Always thought it was dodgy having an agent who is part of our coaching staff, and managing a couple of our players. Assumed we were playing by the rules and it’s all above board but clearly not.

Nathan isn’t on our coaching staff anymore - he left in order to set up his agency, possibly out of necessity so as to avoid any conflict of interest. From what I gather, though, he’s a Chester fan who still often attends games on the Harry Mac, so the connection would’ve no doubt helped us; I don’t think Stanway was the only one of his clients who joined us last season, and a few of our longer-serving players are/were also represented by him.

In fact, it seems as though most of his clients are current or former Chester players - according to his website, he currently represents Stanway, Matty Thomson, Bailey Sloane, Josh Askew, Jude Oyibo, Declan Weeks and Zack Clarke. From memory I think he was also possibly Bern and Jonno’s agent at some point, though don’t quote me on that one.

Think a fair few of us called this last year but then he come on here and done a statement and people thought he was in the benefit of the club. Absolute rat. This is what happens with an unregulated system of agents - you get a swimming teacher thinking he’s Wolf of Wall Street in the North West Counties.

What an awful reply.. 1 - I’m not a swimming teacher 2 - The remark of me being the “Wolf of Wall Street in the North West Counties” Please elaborate? 3 - Your calling me an “Absolute Rat.” I’ve given more hours to Chester FC and Community Trust in the past 3/4 years than the vast majority on here. I’ve also never taken an “agents fee” off the club for any deals I have done with Chester.

Well whatever you have or haven’t done you’ve been found guilty of breaching FA regulations.
Where was our club secretary in all this? Should be on the case with this sort of thing, should be knowing the rules and regs like the back of his hands.

He'll attack you now as he doesn't like different opinions from his own and then Mr Hyde will also jump on to try to exasperate the impact, oddball.

I think the fact the Flintshire Mino Raiola has jumped straight on here to defend and justify his actions says a lot to me.
A few of us noted the strange relationship between ‘agent’ and a few of the team and staff last year, and oh look, a 3 month ban.
Shall we do a go fund me for the fine since he ‘represents’ our players? 😂😂
