I know theres some travel distances involved in those games but its pretty shit for the opening day, especially when you consider we took an estimated 350/400 to Alfreton

I don't like to be snobby about other clubs in this league but that's terrible, especially for their first away game of the season. Whoever is putting the money in there must wonder why they bother.

Would you travel that far to watch a Kevin Wilkin team? They are always well organised but are so dull to watch.

They were likely to struggle TBF, with an 18 year old making his senior debut up front. They haven't replaced those who have left. Brackley, to make that clear.

Poor following but Brackley aren’t a club I want to dig out. When we had the border issue earlier in the year a couple around that way (Leamington & Gloucester) decided to take the piss for a few likes on social media. Brackley despite being the most inconvenienced with the game postponed behaved impeccably and were very professional about it. Always found the staff at their place good too.
Had some bad luck with their clubhouse being burnt down as well.

So less than 800 home supporters is this the beginning of the end as obviously not that much interest in Fylde they must have all gone back to Blackpool

I see the attendance for our game yesterday was 392. Any guesses how many we took? On the commentary it didn't really sound like there were any home fans.

No official figure but I’d say we took a good 150. It was nearer 200 - apparently the Sports gate staff told the security stewards that they were counting 100 Chester fans in the official attendance. Cash only nudge nudge!!

Cash only nudge nudge!! Just a pity that the trains were on strike, as we would’ve probably outnumbered them then.

Not straightforward that, bit of tension between the two of them and a fair few Darlington fans didn't go through protest.

Bern and Darlo's manager Armstrong then got involved and both were sent off.
