Half time arrives and we lead 1-0 all good so far but we need to maintain a threat upfront in the second half, we need to avoid just sitting back and trying to hang on to what we have.

1-1 Not much to hold onto now, and there have been chances at both ends. Hopefully we can take the game to them for the rest of the second half. I'm worried it will be more like the Alamo

Disappointing to lose the lead twice, but it's another match unbeaten and on to Saturday.

There are draws that you are ecstatic about; draws that you are content with; and draws you are gutted with. That was a gut wrenching draw now, but in the morning it will be a good point and another match unbeaten. Well done lads!

Frustrating to draw that game from the position we were in but still would’ve taken it before the game. Onto Saturday now. Fans were class tonight was an awful lot better than the dross that was witnessed at Buxton to say the least!

Last season we'd have lost that 4-0, unbeaten in 6 now! Get a win at the weekend in the cup and we're not to far away from1st round! Hopefully some of the walking wounded get back in the fold too

Hopefully when we get weeks and hall back we’ll start winning more games of this type

Just got back after a gourmet evening meal at Chester services on the way home.
Felt like it was another Alfreton where we’ve just sat deep and invited on the direct balls and knock downs. Although a good point, it’s still frustrating we can’t hold out (Livesey could have stuck his boots on for the last 20)
Must have been a good 400-450 of us? Great effort for a Tuesday night in an absolute shit hole of a ground.
Looking at our run of games after Darlington, we’ll start to climb this league.

Entertaining game. We bossed the opening 20 mins, but only had the one goal to show for it at HT. Chorley had scored 7 second half goals last Tuesday in the Cup and 3 second half goals on Saturday, so it was also going to be a challenge in the second half. We seemed to sit deeper and deeper at the game wore on and scored against the run of play with Daz’s goal, but their equaliser just about summed up our luck lately where we could well have taken a 3-1 lead, but they get lucky with rebounds and go straight down the other end and score.
Looking at the injuries, I wasn’t very optimistic before the game, but the lads are proving tough to beat. Cal said that we’ll be down the the bare bones for Saturday and we shouldn’t expect to see Hall back for a month. This is a worry and I do think we might need at looking to bring in another forward for the next few games.
Any team in our league would struggle when you’re missing the likes of Glendon, Weeks, Hall, Edwards, Earl, Coates and Waters, so I think we’ve done well to be on a 6 match unbeaten run all things considered.

Excellent first half, really should have made more of it and gone in further ahead though. We lost our composure a bit, especially at the back in the second half although ironically we seemed to sustain the little spells of pressure as both equalisers came immediately after we had chances to go further ahead. Be nice to see Thomas get a run in the team now and put this little run of bad luck to start life with us behind him. He’s already got two and should have had two more but for a dodgy lino at Peterborough. Thought he was good tonight, Tyrer also who was confident coming out collecting and punching. Really could do with finding a way to utilise Coulton slightly better as the lad can put a bloody good cross in. He’s a very defensive full back though so doesn’t get in to those positions enough. Nice to see Danny Livesey in the away end with us, felt like chucking him on the pitch in the second half!
Ref tonight was the tit we had against Fylde last month.

I don't think there's any point in the last four seasons where we would've gone to Buxton on a Saturday, Chorley the following Tuesday, and not lost either game.
We're not quite sneaking results and making the most of periods of dominance as Calum says. I suppose that's the difference between a decent side and a good one, but given the injuries and other challenges, it's a solid start. It feels like we're getting somewhere.

Great result given all the injuries to key players Like I said being hard to beat goes a long way, in this league and organisationally we are miles better, than last season.
