I see Watford have just appointed their ninth manager in three years. Having taken a punt on the bloke who got Forest Green promoted in the summer, they've sacked him after 10 games, of which he only lost two.
I don't know how the owner or board there can take themselves seriously. Have all these managers performed unacceptably? If so, is anything being done to assess the capability of the person/people appointing them?
My golden rule is if you find yourself sacking more than one manager a season, managers aren't the problem. I'd like to see a rule brought in that says clubs cannot dismiss more than one manager a season unless it's for gross misconduct.

It is easier to get rid of a manger than it is a player. I imagine managers lie in interviews to get a job saying they are able to work with the players that are signed.

These managers are laughing all the way to the bank, sacked with their contracts paid up in full, most just a few months into them. The owners obviously have more money than sense!!!
