Darlo have scored 12 in there last 9 games and conceded 4. Form is LWWWW (Most recent to the left). They're doing well in the league but have been knocked out the FA Cup by Hyde so could be a turning point for them.
We have scored 8 in our last five games and conceded 2. Form is WDDDW (Most recent to the left). Obviously we're unbeaten in 8 so should be full of confidence, especially with Oldham next week.
In the league: Darlo are 3rd and lost twice We are 13th and lost three times.
We haven't lost at home since August and conceded 3 since then, however in the same game to top of the league Kings Lynn. Darlingtons only away win came at BPA, so it is fair to say their home form is a lot stronger than their away form
So based on all that I'm expecting a low scoring game with us winning 2-1. Expect a tough opposition but think we will just have enough.
2-1 2,300 (250 Darlo)

Should be a good atmosphere with a respectable following for once. Last few Darlo visits have been great entertainment too.
Chester 2-1 Darlington. Willoughby & Hall.
2,211 with 378 away
Only one place to be tomorrow.

The worry for me is how much of a reaction there is from Darlo to going out of the cup at Hyde last week. Virtually all of our dismal cup exits to lower-ranked sides in recent years were followed up with a battling display that saw us gain at least a.point.
Predict a 1-1 draw, but would be delighted if we can win this one.

Two very exciting games on the horizon, which starts from today. Quite obviously many of us are counting down the days until Oldham Athletic away, however in my opinion the Darlington game today is just as important, so it’s vital our players are laser-like focused on getting a result this afternoon first and foremost. Darlo have made a cracking start in the league, but at the same time we are eight unbeaten with five clean sheets in our last six games, so it should be a brilliant game today. With key players such as Declan Weeks and Kole Hall now back in the fold, we should be in a much stronger position, so I am backing us to do the job later. According to Darlington’s fans’ forum, they have a bit of an injury crisis, and they never seem to do well at the Deva, so let’s hope we will record a big win.
Score - Chester FC (Willoughby, Devine) 2-1 Darlington (Beck).
Attendance - 2,123 (305 Darlington).

A 1-0 defeat coulton not strong enough for there goal devine useless again golden chance at the end straight at the keeper for a big lad too annoying

Their goal was proper jammy, a mishit.
Was a decent first half with both sides playing good football but the defences cancelling eachother out; second half was poor quality, scrappy and wasteful.

Took a flukey goal to beat us, but we were just not good enough in the final third at home. Too many players just not at it and I wonder if they had one eye on the Cup match?
Darlo were nothing special, just organised with Beck a handful.
Frustrating that we get another decent gate and we fail to win again.
Oh well, onto Oldham now….

Sounded unlucky. Our games seem very tight at the moment.
Sounds like a basketball game at the Goatcourse. The third time this year they've let in five at home, although somehow they've won two of those games.

Good performance it looks like we're getting better not worse. If we had a natural finisher the game would have been well over. Flukes goal by them. I can see why the ref booked Cal Mac and not their guy as Cal is the manager and should nit get drawn into the drivel

Awful goal of theirs - lucky bloody ricochet !
Feels a bit like Hereford and another few where we’ve been ‘game managed’ by a senior football team.
13 points from 11 not good enough but let’s start picking up some wins in the next few.
Ps - Unsure why we feel the need to mention the goats on a thread about our home game with Darlington, who cares.

The subs killed any chance of getting back in the game. Taking off our most creative players and bringing on Evo Stik standard players like Dudley and Lynch ended any chances of getting something from the game. Instead of bringing of Coates on to bomb forward we end up with Lynch passing everything backwards.
Devine has also been found out as well.

Not a game we deserved to lose, but not one we deserved to win, either. It looked like the goal took a deflection to me. Both sides cancelled each other out. Personally, I would have put Coates on in the aecond half, as he gives us much more energy down the right flank. If you are going to scarifice wingers for a front 3, you really do the the full backs to push on and get to the byline to give us width. Our build up play is too slow. And Weeks needs to push on and play, in the final third and create. He has Roberts and Devine , as a defensive shield, behind him. Quite simply not enough quality, in and around the box.MOM Harrison Burke who gave a good account of himself against the towering Beck.

Agree with this, win, lose or draw they are mentioned on every one of our match threads. Really don't see the point. I'd suggest that any talk about the scum is dedicated to the thread about them in the off topic section or better still in the bin.

Weeks and Hall were never going to play a full 90 today, Weeks especially. Coates only making numbers up today on the bench. Lynch did well when he got on.
