We are in a false position at the moment as we certainly do not deserve to be down in 16th, however looking at our upcoming league fixtures we really do need to string some wins together to climb up to where we deserve to be in the table. It is pivotal we now stamp a marker down, because the games are going to be relentless between now and Christmas. Kettering Town are struggling, however they are the only side to have beaten King’s Lynn Town so they should not be any mugs. Tuesday night still hurts in the back of my mind, however our players certainly made me proud, so let’s hope those floating fans will return as it was certainly no embarrassment in front of a large crowd for a change. We have to be aiming for 2,000 today - no ifs no buts!! I reckon we will win with a comfortable cushion which should lift us up a couple of places. Up The Seals!
Score - Chester FC (Williams, Hall, Weeks) 3-1 Kettering Town (Sharpe).
Attendance - 2,035 (69 Kettering Town).

If we are to get ourselves in to the play-off conversation, as many seem to think we can, we need to be winning games like this.
Play similar to the way we did after HT on Tuesday and we'll probably have too much for them.

Left a bit earlier than normal just incase some of the floating fans might have been tempted back and we got a slightly bigger crowd, judging by the carpark it looks like 1600-1800. Got a right job to increase the fanbase. Hopefully we'll be too strong for Kettering come fulltime COYB

Apart from a couple of half chances that was bloody awful.
Lethargic, narrow and like watching paint dry.
433 with Weeks on the right doesn’t work.
Dudley must have something on Cal to be starting over Stephenson again, absolute passenger as usual.
Hopefully a rocket up us second half.

We do seem to start games quite slowly. Cost us against Oldham really as once we got into those games we were the better side. Hopefully we'll pick it up second half.

1,834. We've lost 1,200 fans in 4 days. At least we know they're out their until the next big game.

1,834. We've lost 1,200 fans in 4 days. At least we know they're out their until the next big game. I think that's the wrong way to look at it. Without the Oldham games we'd probably only have had 1,500-1,600 there today. This time last season we were getting the wrong side of 1,500 for home games.

FT 4-0 - Great result and dominant especially as the players also did 120 against a full time side on Tuesday.

It’s clear Dudley read DC at half time and turned up second half.
Thank us for the motivation lads.
They were god awful, against better teams we can’t play like that first host but let’s back it up with 3 points vs Gloucester.
Where have all the fans gone from Oldham? 😂😂
