All the bad publicity surrounding the game at Fylde seems to have all been directed at our club. There have been many people commenting about it who admit they weren't even there. They all seem to go with what AFC Fylde say, and we know they say anything but their prayers. There were the downright false allegations made following the game at the Deva and the fiasco that was their antics after the youth cup game.
As somebody who was there this is my take on proceedings. Fylde drafted in bouncers to act as stewards. It started outside the ground. The ticketing situation was failing with queues at the ticket office. After half an hour I got my ticket and joined the queue to get in. There was a Chester fan behind me near the queue, ticket in hand, who was voicing his opinions, albeit quite loudly though not shouting. We're all entitled to our opinions aren't we? One one of the "stewards" about 10 yards away from him said "I don't like your attitude, I'm not letting you in today." Why didn't he just go the whole hog and say no jeans or trainers.
Anyway, inside the ground their prime directive seemed to be to get everybody behind the barriers on the away end at all times. Stop for two seconds and they are moving you on (it was the same last year). Normal things like going to the toilet or refreshments and you are constantly hassled.
As for the so called trouble. Chester were denied a third shout for a penalty and some fans surged forward incensed at the referee. They went under the barriers onto the walkway in front but never encroached onto the pitch( the only barrier being a non fixed 18 inch tall advertising frame). There were about 30 "stewards" in front as well and some of them were acting angrily. Not the right temperament for a football steward.
My opinion would be that AFC Fylde, the club we know that they are, drafted in a number of unsuitable people to act as stewards, to deliberately wind up Chester fans ultimately to blame them for any failings to cast our club and fans in a bad light and it seems to have worked.
AFC Fylde portray themselves as a progressive forward thinking community club with ambitions of getting in the EFL (which they were predicting for 2022). They are a snide conniving club who think nothing of using underhand tactics to get what they want. They are a one man vanity project who cannot be financially sustainable without his cash input. They definitely don't deserve to be anywhere near the EFL nor the National League really.
As I say this is my opinion and I believe many more share it. Can you positively tell me I'm wrong?

I suspect you're right, but you also have to acknowledge we do have an element who are causing trouble. It's been brought up on here before that kids are throwing stuff at games, the club released a statement about it recently, and looking at one or two of the videos, you can't deny that it's happened again, whatever the provocation for it might have been.
Fylde are a club with issues from the boardroom down, but I don't care about them. I do care about our own club because if we don't acknowledge it, we'll end up with fines and an unsafe environment. I don't think it's a case of people "believing what Fylde say" but rather recognising and prioritising the parts we need to take responsibility for.

Agree with most of your post but this bit here is proper tin-hat lizard people, flat Earth, Covid crisis actors, Bill Gates microchip stuff. Sorry but that is far-fetched and it clearly didn’t happen. Yesterday was just a bad concoction of many aggravating factors - including the so-called steward “heavies”, a referee who couldn’t handle the situation and the actions of some of our fans.

One of the stewards told me that they were close to abandoning the game...because we were singing 'If Chester score we're on the pitch'. I thought he was joking and laughed until I realised he was definitely serious. Whether these 'concerns' came from AFC Fylde, their security advisors or the ref, I don't know. But what a farce that would have been.

Anyone associated with or defending that vile club is a little rat I get what you say and agree with your opinion on Fylde as a club but I do think we have turned into a fan base who doesn’t like or respect any fans or clubs that we play, I don’t think this used to be the case and I remember we used to get fans of other clubs regularly posting on here with good humoured banter. I feel we are turning a little toxic as a fan base towards supporters of all our rivals, that’s on top of constantly bickering with each other.

It's not a ' toxic fanbase'. It's 20 or 30 young idiots who need rooting out and banning from the Club and all away grounds. Same on this site. Same few who mouth off against everything and everyone. 1% out of 2,000 loyal and respectable supporters. They,ll probably have a go at me now.

Always thought that matchday stewards had to attend a training course and be registered to carry out the duties. If the Fylde 'bouncers' weren't registered stewards what will the FA/National League do about it.

Football Isn't? Wasn't it? Bouncers for stewards, marvellous It's just a few of our 'fans' who cause the trouble. Little 14 something Danny Dyre wannabes who probably down a bottle of Frosty Jacks on their way to the match. As for bouncers for stewards. I suppose it it won't be many years before these little gits fall foul of the bouncers in clubs around the city

Or do you just wait until you're on your keyboard to call these children names?

They aren't kids at all. They are men in their mid twenties.. need to grow up or the club is going to get fined/points deduction if it carries on.

You know very well what would happen if anyone tried to have a word in their ear, they would have no problem turning on anyone who tells them what to do They don't take notice of anyone these days. But they will be the first ones moaning when we get fined/points deducted

Sentencing statistics from the Ministry of Justice shows that in the year ending March 2022, there were 19,555 disposals given for possession of a knife or offensive weapon. Juveniles (aged 10-17) were the offenders in 18% of cases. That’s over 3500! You know your face doesn’t fit on this site, and nor does mine, but I treat that as a badge of honour that I’m not liked by the offensive arseholes who criticise!

Run off to your buddies and have a chat with admin. and see if they can turn this forum into the private group of nodding donkeys you crave.
