Couple of things. Firstly I really think this particular thread should be moved to the off topic forum and secondly fair dos to our 6 fingered neighbours they certainly know how to put their hands in their pockets. Perhaps it's the extra digit that helps grab the money but we can't even raise 500 quid for banners etc, strange considering wrecscum is an effluent town and Chester is an affluent city. Says the fella living in Buckley.😂 You couldn't make it up

To be fair I'm from Buckley originally, and the last time I visited it had gone to the dogs. The centre of town is a disgrace. But more importantly, Buckley is definitely red not blue.

They know how to put their hands in other people's pockets too - ask the university.

Russ Penn stating he'd love to stay at Wxm for next season and hoping to pen a new deal sooner rather than later. Certainly one of our better players.

If you don't care why are you posting on The official Wrexham AFC thread. Anyway which of our cast offs are you going to go after in the summer.

The one thread all Wrexham related is to not mess up the forum, it's mainly to give us something to laugh at or either us to pity you regarding how deluded your supporters are...

Dean Keates decided to pull out of the reserves league next season, preferring instead to play arranged friendlies behind closed doors. Seems a bit drastic until you realise we only actually played 10 reserve games this season.

It looks like you are concentrating on maximising the budget for next season which judging by your last few seasons is a necessity for avoiding the drop.

We finished 8th last season and looking likely a top 10 this season. Position you mugs can only dream about.

Buckley being red is hardly something to be proud of is it. A small town roughly the same distance from both clubs. Part of both our catchment areas. Both being fan owned and our main income being through the turnstiles, these little towns having large groups of supporters make a big difference. Might explain the difference in average attendances for the two clubs.

I would never say Buckley is red or blue for that matter unless the red is for Liverpool or Utd. Can't recollect the last time I saw anyone wearing any Wrexham paraphernalia round here and I don't know what quantifies small but approx. 17000 people live here now.

On all our trips to Wembley there was two coaches from outside the tiv, one or two coaches from the Buckley reds and the shamrock ran a coach as well. Plus a few probably travelled by car/train etc. Not a bad following from a town that isn't the red of Wrexham.

Now they've brought up Wembley, how long is it before they bring up those European nights in the 1970's when all they had to do in order to get into Eurpean competition was to beat Locomotive Llanberis and Red Star Rhuallt?
