Heard they are struggling to sell this one. nothing anti-wrexham like, just there's not a big reggae fanbase here.

Don't know what would be classed a success on it really. As for fan base, Wrexham is barely an hour from the main cities of Liverpool, Manchester, Wolverhampton & Birmingham, no excuses really for fans of the genre.

Considering what a UB40 was, I would say goat land is a perfect spot for them., pity the Trammps couldn't support them too,

Shropshire Reds today donated 8K to the build the budget fund. Absolutely top class from one of our supporters groups. 👏👏👏 Wow!!! You think a few thousand quid will make a difference when teams who get less than 1,000 fans week in week out are bankrolled? Barrow, Gateshead, Fylde, Forest Green have much bigger resources than WXM. Then of course there are the relegated clubs with their parachute payments. Clubs pumping millions into the job can't get out of this league so i doubt if your small change will cut the mustard, but hey you can dream!

(With your crowds as low as they are and no sugar daddy) I'm guessing it's because, like us, you're a real football fan who dreams that his team will succeed.

Shropshire Reds today donated 8K to the build the budget fund. Absolutely top class from one of our supporters groups. 👏👏👏 This makes me so jealous. We have fans who have stopped coming to games because the price was put up by a couple of pounds to equal the average for this league or because they can no longer park on a curb since the new car sales room was built. And others who won't even pay £1 a month to join the CFU.

Say what you like about them but their supporters do seem to buy into the "fan-owned" model when it comes to signing up for memberships and raising funds for the club and playing staff etc. I know they have at least double the fanbase but it's still a great effort, although probably due to not having anything else in their lives...

It's only Wilkin who had the one. But let's not let facts get in the way eh? Plenty of your fans have called for your managers sacking at various points this season (your slow start, your current slump).

How long has squad builder been running? Which manager used the funds the best?

This reassuring, where did you get this data. I used to do a bit with the Fundraising Committee but unfortunately I think the whole thing has died a death. To my best recollection we were getting about £1200 per month in Squad Builder standing orders with a few hundred quid each from collection boxes and the blue boxes at the ground.

But ''beeating off about it'' as you put it may have encouraged more people to contribute. We can't laud the positive things Chester FC are doing if no f**ker tells us about it!
