Not really expecting them to receive any more than a cursory slap on the wrist, but for the sake of sporting and financial integrity I hope they get their arses handed to them. Whatever the outcome, you get the feeling this could be a watershed moment in English football.

A fine would be completely pointless. Should be serious points deductions and a ban from playing in Europe at the very least.

Football is broken. Created by the poor and stolen by the rich.

What a great opportunity for the FA to show some balls bet they don't though

What a great opportunity for the FA to show some balls bet they don't though It’s Premier League rules they’ve broken, and if they did essentially nothing over the Super League, can’t imagine they’ll be risking any blood money leaving the top flight over this by dishing out a strong punishment.

What a great opportunity for the FA to show some balls bet they don't though This made me laugh out loud somewhat, as 'ballless' as the National League

Can’t see Chelsea evading this for much longer either.

Think how many small clubs end up with points deductions every year, for what are basically just admin mistakes made by volunteers. This, meanwhile, is co-ordinated non-compliance with rules.
I'm not holding my breath but City should be hit like a ton of bricks. A fine would completely insufficient. What sort of deterrent is a fine when many of the charges are to do with spending too much money?

Completely agree but can totally see this being the punishment, possibly a transfer ban but that would have little affect if at all given the calibre of their squad. The only reasonable punishment is a point deduction & it must be a sufficient one at that.

I don’t profess to understand the Financial Fsir Play Regulations but isn’t Wrexham also worthy of an investigation.

I don’t profess to understand the Financial Fsir Play Regulations but isn’t Wrexham also worthy of an investigation. No FFP at National League level. Wage caps come in at L2, but the revenue they are generating from TV, sponsorships and gate money means they will probably be ok.
