Sammy Robinson of Port Vale is a 21 y/o former Manchester City Academy RB who can play anywhere across the back line. 22 appearances in L1 this season. doubt he'd drop down 3 leagues with the pedigree and experience he's already got but he'd be a right coup and would free up Coates to perhaps play a role further up the pitch

Regan Booty released from Maidstone is a midfielder with 97 National League appearances and 32 NLS appearances at 25 y/o. Released from bottom-placed Maidstone so plausibly within our reach. Relocation may be an issue but came through Huddersfield Academy so may be closer to home with us than Maidstone assuming he hadn't moved there.

If Cal wants him (I would) you’d think Whitehouse from Scunthorpe would be a slam-dunk?

Good going forward but a very raw player. Could do well under Cal.

Hewelt could be a decent replacement for Tyrer, Goodson was on my wishlist this time last year and could help fill the void likely to be left by Willoughby and Caton, and Francis-Angol would be a pretty eye-catching signing if we could convince him to drop down a division. Above all, though, our priority should be trying to convince Whitehouse to join permanently.
