Shame you dodged the question, but not the first time.
As for aiguy blaconblues Moltisanti sammychester liking a post calling someone a prick, have a word with yourselves.
I. I don't, I would expect the club to share a police appeal about an attack that took place in the ground.
II. Not mentioned anything about that, I am talking about the club not sharing a police appeal about an attack that took place on club premises.
III. Not the case, and I corrected you on another thread when you mixed in posts from other users to paint that picture. As I said there you seem very very jumpy whenever the board is criticised in any way.
Want to try my A or B now?

Calm yourself down now yeah let the old bill sort it and us real fans concentrate on who comes in who goes for 2023/24 season etc Up the seals

That would be great, as the police published it lunchtime on May 12th, from where I posted it on here inside the hour. Cheshire Police published the appeal on their own website and social media, and it was then published in local media. It was not shared by the club. You kind of make my point for me, so expect some abuse from other 'fans'. Why was there a week delay?

Out of respect for the fan concerned it might be better if we didn't turn this into a squabble about the rights and wrongs of press release timings.
I feel sure the bloke in question is probably more interested in getting healed.

Sorry for answering questions on a Forum - obviously not what it was designed for. Still not seen a reason why the club would sit on a public police appeal for a week, just abuse.

Thanks for that private message as well - and matches what others have messaged about getting direct abuse sent to them on here.
Moderators going to get a grip or just lock off threads to bury serious issues?

Moderators going to get a grip or just lock off threads to bury serious issues? To be fair, we can't do anything about private messages unless they're raised to us. I don't agree with you getting insults, but at the same time you're making your point in quite a hostile way and seem to be relishing it, much the same way as you did on the thread about the border dispute a while ago. You're not coming across as a friend of the club.

I dipped off DC for a year after that only to return to praise the playoff atmosphere (!)
You raise a good example, that was brushed under the carpet as well. Board aware of an issue (as we adapted to fit the law) then widely cried foul when it was picked up. A lucky escape.
On private messages other users have been in touch that they are getting them as well. 'Intimidation' and 'gaslighting' are phrases used by others to describe them. Those sending them will know who they are and the positions they hold, and they should know people are telling others about them.

I see your point, many of us do, but we don't understand what has gone on at club level in regard to police and club cooperation behind the scenes. Maybe the police didn't want it shared initially, we just dont know. Let the club and police deal with it, just because there has been no arrests yet, doesn't mean the police won't arrest someone. I understand your frustrations, but we can't speculate what has or hasn't been done behind the scenes by our excellent board - who no doubt shouldn't have to be dealing with this kind of crap. As per your private message insults, you need to inform the mods, only then will they be held to account.

Maybe the police didn't want it shared initially, we just dont know. I am guessing, and it is just a guess I will give you that, that we do know Cheshire Police were not arsed about it being shared. I am basing that on them sharing it to 190,000+ people on their own Facebook page and the 188,000+ people who follow them on Twitter on the same day this thread was started - the 12th. That is ignoring local media reach and those who read the Cheshire police site direct, which I would again guess is more than one person. My entire point is that the appeal would be relevant to those inside the stadium at the match who may have seen something and therefore prove fruitful, rather than the general population of Cheshire. It strikes me as odd that did not happen. That was it. Cue abuse.

Anyone who witnessed this event would have realised that it was fairly serious and therefore contacted the relevant authority to pass information on. Let the Police and the club deal with it and hope those responsible get identified and dealt with.

Listen I was pissed off at the time and for a week after - more out of frustration for following this team to every home and most aways for the best season in years, for it to end on the sourest note going.
But we’re done now, looks like the police and club are making progress and the only thing we should be talking about on here now is the squad for next season.
Oh and building a new 8,000 capacity Harry Mac Kop.

I'm guessing that if nobody has got in touch off their own back then they probably won't do so doubt it's made any difference in the end. Can't be many who saw it in an enclosed space like the toilets, the victim only knows the colour of one of the attackers t shirt. The police are even asking for video footage, not sure somebody would wan't to confess to having their phone out recording in the toilets!

Had two operations, not healed well and will require a third op taking bone from a different part of his body to improve the situation. Not well enough still to attend home fixtures, terrible state of affairs that the scumbags who did this haven't been caught.

Hopefully the scumbag who did that will get caught otherwise what's to stop something like this happening again. And I couldn't care less if they get "grassed up".

To be fair would he feel safe / comfortable attending the Deva in the future? It would certainly make someone think twice about going to the game.

I had my jaw broken by a punch I didn't see whilst minding my own business. The long term psychological damage was far more difficult to recover from than the physical damage. I hope he makes a full recovery and that the culprits are caught.

Absolutely disgraceful this incident, shame there's no cctv evidence, as this was by far the worst incident of the day after all the disorder. I wonder if the culprit was involved on the pitch, think its very likely.
