In addition to Reset Events, he is listed as the director of a further 12 companies (most of which are 'Reset' something or other), all incorporated Nov-Dec21, and yet to file a set of accounts. Hmm.

They’re going to asset strip, launder and take them under.
Basically the Ghanaian Murphy.

This fella seems to be a right chancer. Loads of new companies on CH, all incorporated in last 12 months. Possible land grab?

Could be - prime time for retail there and would be a quick win for an iffy investor. It’s a little like the consortium and who tried to get Morecambe - Instagram NFT con men. Makes me glad now matter what, is that we’re fan owned and thriving. I’d literally only sell to a season ticket holder who’s won the lottery 😂😂

If we’re getting 2,500 a game in next season we’ll be just as stable as some crackpot sugar daddy in charge. Look it's fine for this league, fan ownership can very well get us out of it. The next league up there is a lot of money needed to get out of that league. I'm a CFU member, I support fan ownership at this level but I am also a realist. It's going to be very hard to get back to the Football League without a lot of money. I would love for us to do it under fan ownership but we do need to have a bit of realism. If the right investor came along then we absolutely need to be open to the possiblity and it should be put to the CFU membership. I'm still of the opinion that Murphy should've been put to the CFU membership instead of that decision being taken by a select few of fans. I'm not saying we should sell the club right now, there's not a stream of investors lining up as we know. But when one does come along, if it's the right person/group then we need to entertain the idea. You can call me a glory hunter but I want this club in the highest league possible winning as many trophies as possible.

He’s linking his own crypto coin with his vodka brand ffs 😂😂 Indeed DECEMBER 22, 2022 7:13 PM UTC, RICK STEVES Decentralized exchange TIDEFI has teamed up with All Time High (ATH) Vodka to support the launch of the ultra-premium vodka brand’s $ATH token built on the Tidechain, TIDEFI’s layer-one blockchain. The TIDEFI Exchange will allow users to trade, hold, and stake their $ATH assets through its decentralized platform. The community-focused distribution strategy gives participants opportunities to earn rewards in $ATH tokens and its native $TDFY tokens. All Time High (ATH) Vodka is a brand by Reset Drinks Limited that is centered around a tokenized reward structure for community members and the exclusive partnership is part of its effort to tokenize real world assets. In this case, vodka.
First real-world product tokenized on Tidefi
ATH Vodka is looking to disrupt the spirit industry and radically create a new business model that rewards its customers beyond drinking spirit drinks in a way that also benefits the vodka brand. Prince Yemoh, CEO of ATH Vodka, said: “Our partnership with TIDEFI has enabled ATH Vodka by way of blockchain technology to sit as a bridge between both industries to unlock and bring real-world value and utility to the masses in the form of tangible digital rewards.” Daniel Elsawey, CEO and co-founder of Tidefi, commented: “This is the first real-world product tokenized on Tidefi. We are moving tokenization one step further to the masses to allow real-world business and products to benefit from being closer and allowing their community members to interact with them in more than just a transactional relationship.” Vodka’s bottles are fitted with LED lights
ATH Vodka is marketed as a high-end, ultra-premium brand launched by Reset Drinks Limited, a firm that has 40 years of experience in the hotel, bar, and restaurant sectors. The vodka brand is aimed at being a favorite among celebrities, artists, sports stars, and high-net-worth individuals, and can be found at venues and music festivals. This vodka is eight times distilled, using reverse osmosis purified water and 100% natural ingredients, the firm stated, adding it is made out of the best quality French grain. The bottle was designed to stand out on the top shelf, sitting taller than anything else on the market and fitted with an LED light. 10,000 $ATH tokens for the HighLife pass
The ATH Vodka brand is launching the $ATH token with an initial supply of 1,000,000,000 units distributed through the sale of ATH branded products. Users can acquire ATH before its launch in early Q1 by staking $TDFY.
Holders of $ATH on the TIDEFI platform are eligible to receive tangible rewards through the support of the ecosystem, the ultimate of which being the implementation of the HighLife pass. Those holding over 10,000 $ATH tokens are given the HighLife pass, which gives access to a network of value and utility in the real world with exclusive partners linked to festivals, VIP clubs, luxury hotels, restaurants, and more.' Whilst it may be true that someone connected has 40 years of experience in the hospitality sector, Reset Drinks Ltd was incorporated on the 22nd of December 2021

Somebody up thread mentions getting "the right investor"
Problem is how do you know when "Mr. Right" comes along?
Lots of people look credible and then end up taking clubs to the cleaners.
I remember many years ago (60's / 70's) a World in Action / Panorama type programme about the state of football finances and Chester, despite low average gates were sighted as a "rich club" due to the fact the club had an asset, Sealand Road.
Look how that ended up!

It was January 2018 when the club ran into financial trouble. Stuart Murphy's involvement was made public in June 2018. Things were pretty healthy during 2018/19 and 2019/20, but the arrival of covid in early 2020, lockdown and the season being suspended put the football club, like most businesses, under pressure. Stuart announced his wish to takeover the club in May 2020.

I remember sitting in the freezing cold watching a youth game vs Gateshead because we needed 50k. So that couldn't have been anything aside from the CFU surely.

Yes, that's probably fair in terms of 2018, but I think the suggestion above is that the takeover attempt came at a time when the club was at its most vulnerable, however by 2020, things had improved significantly following the financial crisis. Any vulnerabilities were pretty much exclusively related to the pandemic.

Companies will say any old rubbish to make themselves look good. If questioned about that, they would probably say they have 8 bar staff who have all worked behind a bar for about 5 years, so 40 years in total. I've become wary of small businesses telling you who they have "worked with". If you fired off a speculative email to Apple during working hours, for example, and got a "no thanks" in reply, you could technically argue you had "worked with Apple".
