Looking forward to this one.
I'm going to go for a 2-0 home win with Peers slotting home early and Burke powering a header into the top corner just as the clock ticks into the 70th minute.
4,361 in attendance

Pleased and relieved that our capacity restrictions have finally been lifted a little. Long overdue but hopefully we can move on from all that madness now. We won our last home game, have kept three clean sheets in a row, it’s ‘Her Game Too’ Day tomorrow, plus I know a few supporters who will be going to their first home game of the season tomorrow due to the previous regulations, so we should get well over 2,000 in for this one.
I was one of the 120-odd who braved that long old jaunt to King’s Lynn last Saturday, and it really was a game to forget. A lack of quality in the final third was very evident from both sides, in what was a match of very few chances. Shame we couldn’t build on our superb win at Chorley, however we did keep another clean sheet so no complaints on the defensive side of things. Banbury United have been given a new lease of life recently, as they’ve won two on the bounce and have a new Manager in Kevin Wilson. It’ll be his first game in charge tomorrow, so they’ll be coming up here full of confidence. However, if we manage to get an early goal then there’s no reason why we can’t go on to win by a couple. Very much looking forward to it now, so let’s hope our lads will put on a show in front of a strong home crowd.
Score - Chester FC (Caton, Weeks) 2-0 Banbury United.
Attendance - 2,379 (45 Banbury United).

As long as they don’t come and park the bus should be an easy 2-0 win. Peers and Glendon. 2342 there

Need an early goal to stop the opposition parking the bus. If we don't get an early goal I can see a dull 0-0, but hopefully an early Peers goal will open things up. Optimistic 3-0 win with Peers getting 2 and Caton the other. 2340 there with 53 away supporters.

Trying to work out where all three of Woodthorpe, Taylor and Okeke fit into that lineup. Presumably one of them is playing further up but with three centre mids already in there it looks asymmetrical. Probably something obvious I'm missing.

Typical missed penalty

Probably a fair result. If we can’t get the ball in the goal enough, we won’t win games.
Missed penalty, but shouldn’t have been given in the first place according to Seals Live?
Hopefully do better next time.

Just not good enough in front of goal today and we got punished. Simple as that. Justice with the pen at the end was complete desperation from Weeks, surprised the ref bought it. All in all a disappointing performance

Two more years of watching Weeks aimlessly punting the ball forward and losing the ball in dangerous positions. Happy days.

We've got a German on the pitch and we let an Englishman take a penalty?

Someone needs to tell our lot that you win games by scoring goals, not by who can make the most passes in and around the 18yd box. We are not Man City. What’s wrong with putting your laces through the ball - if only once in a while?! Should have been at least 3-0 and out of sight for them by half time. Means we need to win on Tues (and prob Sat too).

I personally would have brought Windsor on for Caton in the second half 🤷🏻♂️
