Will be missing my one and only match of the season today, as I’m currently in Madrid on a uni trip. Will be tuning into Seals Live and will be as desperate as ever for us to secure all three points, as it’s a very big game. We tend to perform well against sides nearer to us in the table, so hopefully it’ll be an enjoyable encounter for you all watching it live. Really excited about the signing of Ben Tollitt as well, who’s an experienced player that we’ve been in need of to liven up our attacking options. I called him every name under the sun when he played for the goats and Tranmere Rovers, but hope he absolutely smashes it for us. Come On You Seals!!
Score - Chester FC (Peers, Burke) 2-1 Scarborough Athletic (Mulhern).
Attendance - 2,376 (241 Scarborough Athletic).

🤓 That’s the most exciting ‘bench’ I’ve seen for a long time. Some really exciting rotations etc!!! 2-0 to The Men from Bumpers Lane.

Comfortable and 1 up. Just hope we can get a quick 2nd otherwise we'll just end up inviting these back into it

Me of little faith...was just waiting for the equaliser. Could do with a few other results going out way...pretty much as you were currently.

Never would have thought that by 5pm today I would have a newfound appreciation for Ben Tollitt and Andy Cook!

Cracking win that. Not really much else to say. Performance similar to Banbury but at least we had our shooting boots on today. Defo a playoff side no matter what some of the doom and gloom merchants on here seem to think

Up to 3rd now. I keep thinking Curzon will fall away but they're just a point behind us with a game in hand after winning at Scunthorpe today.

Really good, solid performance.
Massive win that let’s hope we can put a run together.
Tollitt looked different class when he came on.
Glendon with yet another goal. Fucking love it.

A special mention to the officials today too. I thought they did very well compared to the usual shite we have to put up with.

Absolutely dominant today, deserved 3 0 and maybe more. Burke and Williams excellent.
I did think Scarborough were strangely poor, like they weren't up for this at all
