Why do we need yet another poll which will carry no weight, we all know the strength of feeling.

The board have give him a 'vote of confidence' and the players have publicly backed him. He's going nowhere, for the time being.
Rather waste my time and energy getting behind Macca and the team than dwell on something that isn't going to happen in the next 9 days.
I never ever want the club to lose games, even if it means proving a point. In an ideal world we win the next three games and we can crack on from there. We lose two of them then hopefully the board will assess the situation again.

I have voted yes for a change of manager but only if the replacement is an experienced manager or ex prem player with an impeccable playing record, cheap option such as promoting Tom Shaw is not acceptable

I like Tom Shaw reminds me of Peter Jackson, however he doesn't seem to be having a positive effect on the touch line, would be better employed leading on the field IMO

I was all for sacking Macca and bringing Bignot in, but he has tonight joined Barrow, so not sure who we would bring in, as I was set on Bignot and thought he'd be a great fit.

I think the better question would be will Jon McCarthy win a home match during the rest of his career as Chester FC manager. I think the answer to that is probably not. How many more winless home games does he have?

Next two games are crucial for JM - 4 points minimum or he has to go. It's going to continue like this until he can string a run together that warrants any faith being instilled in him by the fanbase. At some point he has to prove that he is a manager that can average more than a point a game, otherwise we are down by March. As Halifax and York have discovered, change your manager in late October and no matter how good the second half of the season is, you are still up against it.

Yes, please go Jon. It's doing you and the club no good carrying on this shocking run of form.
Let's see the glorious return of Graham Barrow. If not then Garry Hill.

Get rid even if we get results at Torquay United and Solihull Moors it is delaying the ineffable and will give a new manager less time. It is going to happen and will happen I have no doubt about that.

Wrighty's doing alright at Southport, may be worth a punt? He's bound to get the players in shape and takes no prisoners. He's surely got a soft spot for us having been our manager no less than three times.

He wouldn't stand for half of the nonsense that goes on like McCarthy and would get us well drilled. Horrible man but knows how to set a team up at this level.

We have NO development at Chester under the stewardship of the muppets. According to His Highness McCarthy even training and medical support is going backwards.

Wright should never be welcome back at our club in my opinion. Let's not forget, he along with Vaughan was part of that Danish-led consortium that went head-to-head with CFU in an attempt to secure the lease of the Deva after CCFC folded. It would be an absolute insult to everyone who worked hard to resurrect the club if Mark Wright were allowed anywhere near it.

Paul Cox got to get the job Not sure about Cox. He has won promotion from this league with Mansfield, but seems to make himself quite unpopular wherever he goes. Didn't do that great with Barrow really. Now that Bignot's gone, I think the best suggestion I've heard is Garry Hill, but he seems a very London-centric manager and not sure we could tempt him.
