We finally return to the Deva tomorrow, with us playing 4 away games in a row. Gateshead started to pick some results up under Steve Watson, but have since struggled and it seems as if they are in the relegation battle. We must put the FA Trophy defeat over our heads our now. It was horrible but we must focus on survival. I’m still quite confident that we will do it, as we’ve been performing well in our recent league games. Hopefully the presence of Micky Moore and the 150-or-so people behind the MBNA stand will influence the boys to get a very important win. Come On You Blues! Score: Chester FC (Astles) 1-1 Gateshead Attendance: 1,678 (72 Gateshead) COYB!

Draws are not really going to do it for us now Rio. Minimum of 4 points from these next 2 games is essential. It depends which Chester turns up. I'll go 1-1 as well, which will mean that we'll have to beat the Pools, and they're in the sh!t too.

We need goals - not just one because we're always likely to concede at home for some reason. Two is the absolute minimum, three better and that is where my concern is - the lack of real creativity and cutting edge.
That said Gateshead are beginning to look like the side who, every season, plummets to relegation, so we are certainly in with a decent chance IF we take the game to them.
Going for a 2-1 win, euphoria on Deva Chat, talk of play-offs, MB knighthood etc

A home win tomorrow will give us the much needed three points, but will also boost the teams home confidence. If we can continue our recent league form then I'll go for a 2-0 win. (Hannah and White). COYB!

Just watched your lads train for 10 minutes or so. The spirit certainly seems decent. Hope you get a win.

Guiseley v Barrow is off tomorrow due to a frozen pitch.
Does actually give us the opportunity to climb out of the bottom four by Tuesday night if we can pull a rabbit out as we play twice before Barrow next do so.

We’ll win this 3 - 1.
Didn’t someone on here say Watson was the reason Macc Town were doing so well when he was Assistant? Almost like saying that McCarthy was the mastermind and Sharps was going along for the ride!

This really is must win.
If you're going down to the ground, get behind them from the first minute. We're going to need it.

Coming to HT and it's 0-2. Only this clown of a team could conceded 2 goals in ONE MINUTE. It's stopped being painful now. you've just got to laugh.
