Glenn Tamplin owner of Billericay Town FC has put the club up for sale at £500,000. He claims to have spent upwards of £2.5 million. He says that part of the reason is the Police accusing him of snorting cocaine in the toilets at the ground, it appears the claim was unfounded. The pressure of running the club he states is also affecting his family life, so he wants out. It also appears that he has fallen out with a large section of supporters. Watch them slide down the League now.

They were talking up reaching the Football League not so long ago.
It's a tightrope all these little clubs walk when they depend on a rich bloke.

Apparently pulled up by the Police twice on Saturday 2nd one in front of his kids while leaving the ground who were upset which left him no other choice but to put the club for sale

He comes across as a bit of an egocentric fool in interviews that I’ve seen. Hot headed and not rational, will probably change his mind in a few days. Didn’t he once sack himself as manager, only to rehire himself a short time later?

He only ended up at Billericay after trying at one or two other clubs, D&R fans told him where to go. Bloke’s an absolute clown.
