"Chester FC are thrilled to confirm that MBNA have penned a further three-year deal with the club as our Principal Sponsors. The Chester-based Banking experts have been pivotal to our fan-owned football club, supporting Chester FC since its reformation in 2010, and will continue to do so with a new record sponsorship deal – further underlying their commitment to the city and its community." www.chesterfc.com/2019/08/02/breaking-chester-fc-and-mbna-sign-new-three-year-deal/

Superb news. Great to hear our longest sponsors are still on board and committed to the cause.

Great. I'm not a big fan of shirt sponsorship, or banks for that matter, but it looks a hell of a lot smarter than Tranmere running round with B&M Waste on their shirts, for example.

Great news this considering Maguire nearly lost this sponsor all together, Dave Powell confirmed it's a record deal too.

Very well done to the Board and Jim (and Sue) on behalf of the Community Trust for presenting well.

Weren't Wirral Rubbish the shirt sponsors for Mike Bassett's team Wirral County in the TV series? The highlight of that show was when they played arch-rivals Chester City needing a result to avoid relegation. They avoided relegation due to the fact they didn't lose as heavily as their rivals for the drop!

There was also the scene where Mike was talking to his assistant about who they could sell & he suggested the fat, purple right back but was told he was the son of the owner (maybe a sponsor actually) 😂

There is a lot of companies out there lets hope they will get on the bandwagon and support the home club I think we could possibly gain a few quid to the coffers by having THE HARRY McNALLY TERRACE sponsored by . . . it’s got to be worth a few grand and good advertising for a local or even national company.
