McNulty is a warrior to be fair. We all take the piss but he’s a bloody class player and York are lucky they have the dollar to have him. Lets just hope Asantes fit because I can't see anyone else being much of a problem for him.

If he thinks he might pull something we'll just as likely get one of his jog about performances. He is either nearly unplayable or almost invisible. There doesn't seem to be much inbetween. As Bern said, his last two performances weren't at the same level as the previous ones.

We are second in the league because of his goals. We know the deal with Asante. Too good for this league but will miss plenty of games. I didn't see the point in playing him if he doesn't feel fit, or whatever. Stick him on the bench and give him 30 minutes. The managers need to tread carefully with him. Stopforth doesn't get stick for all the games he misses.

If Asante isn't fit then maybe he will be ready for when the match is re arranged as looking at the weather forecast we are due a 24 hour deluge prior to 3 o clock on Saturday

Yes, I’m worried about the heavy rain as we cannot afford a postponement with so many away fans. A rearranged game would decimate the attendance.

One of the lads from York who I met while watching England phoned me last night. There's a couple of hundred getting on the 9.23 train from York on sat morning. I'm meeting 6 of them at 12.15 in brook street for a couple if pints. There good lads and not yobs. He reckons after doing stockport loads more are talking about going to Chester. Told him they probably won't be selling beer in the ground. He laughed and tried to take the piss saying we must be proper small non league club not selling beer in the ground. How embarrassing that was. But should be a massive attendance on sat which is brilliant.

We're hardly in-form. 5 games without a win.
