Can anyone who went to Leamington last year remember if their social club was open, and whether it was any good?
Thinking of going but their ground looks proper out in the sticks, with the nearest pub 2.6 miles away!

Small and basic but they'll let us in. They put two special shuttle buses on from the railway station last season. So just keep checking their website. Worked well so hopefully they will do it again.

Lobster Anders has pretty much answered your questions. The ground is surrounded by countryside with limited parking on site with no facility to park on the country lanes. The bus which leaves from outside the train station is very reasonable. It makes two trips before the game and afterwards . Last season it left very promptly after the final whistle . I ended up on the second run. Their ground isn’t great at all but the social club bar is adequate if not spectacular. Friendly enough welcome. There are a few pubs within five minutes walk from the train station beforehand as well. Think we took over 500 last season but just couldn’t score against a keeper who had a great game. Not sure how many will go this time around given it’s the middle of January. Not the best ground but a reasonable day out all in all.

Their top scorer Josh March joined Forest Green today for a bit of £££. Good for us but also fair play to Leamington, they find some great players.

I’m looking forward to this game. That said we’ve had a lot of rain in the midlands Monday Tuesday and today. Forecast to be dry from tomorrow onwards so fingers crossed 🤞 it will go ahead,

Following on from that they are welcoming us to their club bar, refreshment facilities and no segregation. Unlike the unnecessary heavy handed approach which Brackley adopt

It looks like they have a nice set up 😃 It’s not much at all really but I do think they try and make the best of it. It’s probably the most inaccessible ground I’ve been to. 3+ miles from town on a country road with no footpath. Not on a regular bus route either. There’s literally 450 car park spaces there and that’s it, if the car park is full then you’re probably giving up and going home instead. They only put the bus on for the likes of us, Hereford, Kiddy, York etc. It’s one of them very rare ones where you can say “If you think the Deva is bad, go and try Leamington.”
