Big game tonight, if we attack as we have done I can see us getting a few tonight, B&J still haven't won away from home in the League with Spenny so hopefully that continues tonight! If we can limit their striker Taylor I'll go for a 3-1 win, 1,480

Big one tonight. Wish I could be there but will be listening in to Seals Live.
Canโt see them not scoring given our record, so am going for 3-1 assuming Stephenson and Apter can play. 1398 with 11 from Spennymoor.

Based on B+J's 24% win rate away from home with us, we should be winning this one. 3-1 to us, their striker is top scorer!

Really looking forward to tonight for obvious reasons. It will go down as a good evening if Anthony Johnson and Bernard Morley get a warm welcome back, as well as us doing the business on the pitch to return to winning ways. I have plenty of time for our previous managers as I got on really well with them, however I really want us to win against them. That said though up until this season they did a great job here and made some incredible sacrifices, so I equally hope they get a positive reception. It did turn sour this season, but so did it towards the end of Neil Young and Steve Burrโs reigns, yet they are still regarded highly here so I hope Bern and Jonno are too. Onto the game then, as we really do need to bounce back to avoid a third consecutive defeat. It wonโt be easy as Spennymoor Town have a good squad, but just like ourselves they find themselves surprisingly low down in the table as Spenny are one place above us. If our defence manages to handle Glen Taylor well and we are more prolific in front of goal at the other end, then we should win this one. Our last match was on Saturday as we lost 2-3 at home against Hereford FC in what was a very eventful game. Our first half performance was fantastic because we were clearly the dominant side due to our superior possession and presence in front of goal. Roughly halfway through the half it was first blood to us, as Harrison Burke scored a remarkable backwards header to make it 1-0. In stoppage time though Jared Hodgkiss converted at the far post for Hereford FC to make it 1-1. A painful ending to an otherwise positive first half for us. Meanwhile, we were really sluggish and sloppy in the second half, because the opposition came out of the blocks quicker than us and were certainly the better side. Just after the hour mark though we took the lead again, as Matty Williams glanced home from a corner to make it 2-1 to us. We were in front again for a matter of two minutes, because Maziar Kouhyar curled in for Hereford FC to make it 2-2. With about 10 minutes left on the clock Hereford FC had the chance to win the game as Okera Simmonds tripped Jared Hodgkiss up to hand them a penalty. Tom Owen-Evans duly smashed in the resulting penalty to make it 2-3 to Hereford FC, with them completing the comeback. Despite being in front twice we bottled our lead, which consigned us to our second defeat in a row. Spennymoor Town will be making the journey down South from County Durham having had a very frustrating campaign thus far, very much like our good old selves. Before we were due to face The Moors away in December, they parted company with then-manager Tommy Miller, and just one day after we were defeated 4-2 at Brewery Field a certain Anthony Johnson and Bernard Morley were appointed as their new managers. It has been a mixed start to the Bern and Jonno tenure for Spenny with just one win in seven league games, however in the FA Trophy they guided them to victories over Radcliffe and Plymouth Parkway, before narrowly losing out at Dagenham And Redbridge a fortnight ago. Four former Seals could be making the trip back down to the Deva this evening, who are Anthony Johnson, Bernard Morley, Brad Abbott, and Jude Oyibo. Firstly, co-manager Anthony was appointed as our co-manager in May 2018, where he did a great job to stabilise and help rebuild our club up until this season where things didnโt go to plan. Last November he got sacked after a home defeat to Guiseley, while last December he was appointed as the co-manager of Spennymoor Town which is where he has been at ever since. Co-manager Bernard was also appointed as our co-manager in May 2018, and he too helped guide us to two play-off finishes and a finish in the top 10 too. Bern was sacked last November before being appointed as the co-manager for Spennymoor Town last December which is where he has been at ever since. Centre midfielder Brad joined us from Barnsley on loan in January 2015 where I thought he had an impressive tenure here, but unfortunately he returned to Barnsley in March 2016. Last May he signed for Spennymoor Town which is where he has been at ever since. Lastly, right winger Jude joined us last May where I thought he implemented plenty of flashes of potential, but unfortunately he was too injury prone. Last December he was released by us, before joining Spennymoor Town last December which is where he has been at ever since. On Saturday I liked the look of David Okagbue in the first half, but after failing to communicate with Wyll Stanway for Hereford FCโs second goal he fell off the radar after that. In normal circumstances I would start him tonight, but I am only being a bit sceptical of him facing our leagueโs top scorer in Glen Taylor, so Iโd probably opt to start Simon Grand in place of him instead. Our players still have their contracts to fight for if they want to be here next season because Steve Watson does not stand any messing around, so we do need the three points tonight to ensure we improve on our worrying position down in 17th. Going for a draw, 1200 fans and agreeing with the prediction that Jonno will get sent off. I hope its not toxic but think there will be a minority there who will give them a hard time. That said they used to get loads of grief from opposing teams fans anyway ๐
