20% off at the bar for season ticket holders - literally across the road from the ground so could be a good option for pre- and post-match pints.
No idea what their prices are like if the 20% off is worth it, but I doubt you have to arrive at midday to ensure you get served before the game!
Whether they’ve cottoned on to the above age-old complaints and/or the fact that we currently don’t have a bar licensee/manager?

That 'bar' is the most soul destroying place I've been in my life. Genuinely don't think I'd go if they were giving me free beer and crisps.

Aye but was more for the pre and post-match crowd as it’s close by, closest bar to the ground isn’t it. The rest are half an hours walk in various directions.

GWG announced as new Bar and Events providers at the Deva linkSorry but they’re awful. They just seem to get so many of the basics wrong all the time. So must wasted income. The Bar selection is awfull and their policy of pouring one can at a time during 3,000 gate sunny days is baffling and leaves the queue moving at a snails pace. Seem to always be constantly suprised at how busy they are. Happy to give them a chance to show they've improved, but not confident.

Lost track of who is what now, I thought Jaspers did the catering upstairs in the Lounge but Aaron Poole ran the Blues Bar. When did Jaspers leave?
This news makes it look like the stadium kiosk operators also have the lounge and the bar now?

Normally sold out by 3.30. Haven’t bothered buying anything from there last few months of the season. Know loads who haven’t either. Take my own ale in if I’m drinking.

Yeah I don't know why anyone bothers with that to be honest. Feel like there's just not enough space in the kiosk areas to make a decent job of it - when you're selling beer you really need a concourse like Telford. Not sure what the attraction is in queuing and missing 20 mins of the game for a warm shit pint.

If someone's there with kids and just wants a drink, sweets etc they shouldn't have to queue for 20 mins - although neither should those wanting a beer. Ideally they'd have separate queues or kiosks.

It's all a matter of taste I suppose as a lager it's not bad my preferred tipple is a Hobgoblin or Speckled Hen but we do have a a pub here which has its own microbrewery and they do an absolutely unbeatable porter ale called Cardinal if your ever in Hastings call in the Filo and try it

Not sure what the attraction is in queuing and missing 20 mins of the game for a warm shit pint. Block up the door and put a huge hatch in the wall. They will then have double the space inside to put in loads of kitchen equipment chip fryers etc. If people can do it with mobiles surely you can do it in the kiosk if you opened up the space.

The drinks may be a bit pricey, but it’ll be worth it in the long run, because I’ve just had a chat with the woman who co-owns GWC Catering. She told me that they’re going to install three large 65-inch flat screen TVs that’ll show all the sports, and they’re trying to get a subscription off Sky Sports as well. All of the walls in the Blues Bar have been painted so it’s all looking a lot fresher, and they’re also going to install some new draught beers, so hopefully they might have some ales from local breweries for those real ale drinkers. Plenty of stuff in the pipeline.
