Abit of positivity on here for a change. Many ups and downs in the last 13 years, but What's our biggest highlight or your personal favourite moment? The 3 promotions in a row were special and will never be repeated, the Heneghan winner is up there, but for me it was that away win at Wrexham when we were in dreadful form and comfortably beat them 2-0 against the odds at the racecourse. What's everyone's favourite memory?

So many to choose from but the shortlist would definitely contain:
Garforth (a) - nail biting end to the season Barnsley (a) - FA Cup Fylde (a) - weekender in Blackpool Harrogate & Durham (a) - weekenders away
Wrexham when Linwood scored and of course the home game.
Gary Roberts hattrick against Alfreton in 2018 was a nice moment. We had sponsored him that season.
I think the Heneghan game will always be a 'I was there' moment and comes in as number one.

Apart from the obvious couple;
Burke @ Oldham
Scarborough last season, probably the best performance since 2010 and a good weekend away.

The Matty McGinn thunderbolt. A goal good enough to win any league.

I wasn't at the 'Heneghan' game but was the lone Blue in a pub full of Goats in Holywell. Half-time fag and they were already talking about their next game. Didn't even cheer when he scored, just laughed my head off and soaked up the bitterness 🤣🤣🤣🤣

As well as those already mentioned, a game I particularly enjoyed was the 4-2 win at Altrincham early in the 2012-13 season. An excellent game and a rare win over Alty, with Ben Mills on fire at the time during his loan spell.

Our first ever goal - Rob Hopley Alex Brown thunder bastard against Chorley McGuinn's bullet to win us the league Heneghan for obvious reasons Barnsley FA Cup - Can't believe that is now 8 years ago! Witton away - Nearly threw it away only for Horan to win it in the last seconds

An early highlight was the win at Bamber Bridge early in the first season. They had a 100% record going into that game. We won 5-0. I stood there thinking what a good team looked and that we could win the league.
The Horan headers at Witton and FC United were quality.
Coming back from 2-0 down and Astles equaliser at Tranmere.
The satisfaction of winning at Wrexham though was special. Getting to play them was confirmation that we were back, going there with 0 points and 0 goals (if I remember correctly?) and winning the game was special.

Barnsley away was brilliant.
Was gutted to miss Oldham away and FC United at Gigg Lane.
Enjoyed the Asante hat-trick at Telford.
The nail-biter at Garforth was a day and a half.

Has to be Heneghan for me and the immortal words "they've missed him at the back post Heneghan has won it for Chester".

I mean outside of the obvious, Sarcevics last minute winner against Bishops Stortford for me, on the day of my 21st and in the town where I'd lived for 6 years.

I always think that Garforth game was an absolutely dreadful afternoon, personally. I was too drained to even celebrate at the end.
The 6-2 win at Stalybridge in 2012 stands out for me. Masterclasses from Howard and Sarcevic.

May 2010.
The sound in the room at the Guildhall when the new club crest was unveiled, then Daryl Clare on stage being inducted into the Hall of Fame to chants of "what a waste of money!" - was a perfect blend of the new and the old and signified the continuation of the club.
An emotionally-charged evening, that.
Unforgettable.

Getting the phone call from David Evans telling me the council had awarded us the lease. Got goose bumps even now thinking about that, some 13 and a half years later.

Some great memories!
I'd also throw Chorley away into the mix during our first season back. It felt like our first 'decider'.
Electric atmosphere from start to finish and the added hilarity of the Chorley and Chester hard-knocks shaking the fence down pre-match, yet standing around trying to look hard even though they had full access to one another.
