I’d have taken a 1-1 before the match if I’d been offered it.
That point could be vital come the end of the season given how ridiculously close all these teams in the top third of the table are.
Really, really, really need to hope that our finishing improves.

We'll need to start scoring more goals quickly to finish in playoffs. The effort is their, just not the end product

No doubt the usual suspects will use it as an excuse to berate them.
But considering the officials and the conditions, I’ll take a point there. Proper test to see where we’re at on Saturday so the usual names, try and hold back on the abuse eh. 👍🏼

Yep got away with one there. Any team would struggle in those conditions but we really did miss Coates / Okere and strikers had zero service.
Feel like It’s quite damming to all the other strikers at the club that even when we look so leggy up top none of Norton, Windsor or Hall can get on.
Those sort of games where you need a Matty McNeil / Matt Rhead type to scare defenders. Peers and Caton combo is great on a good surface but it wasn’t their game tonight, Caron especially looked knackered. Take a point there all things considered, win on Saturday would be a statement going into the play offs

Hell of a game against Scarborough now. Three points from that would be amazing. I’d take a point though now if you’re offering!

We were far the better side again, think they only had one chance. Clearly still fitness/sharpness issues but it feels a lot more like a point won as opposed to two dropped on Saturday.

Relieved to get a point in the end but we could've done with winning it really, with our recent home form being a bit patchy.
It feels a bit like however good or bad the opposition are, we always play at about the same level as them. I admire the optimism of fans predicting 3-0 and 4-0 away wins but we're just not that kind of team.

Draw a fair result. Some of our passing is lazy and awful. We should do a complete training session on finishing chances with some killer instinct-stay behind if you don’t convert 8/10 . We need more mental toughness how many times do we say we were outmuscled. Murray needs to start Saturday- looked good when he came on

Is that what’s it come to away from home? Taking a point vs Peterborough Sports?
Scarborough shaping up to a big one Saturday now.
Does Mike Allcock ever stop from the sideline? There’s instructions to your players then there’s constant trying to manage them through a game. That’s one of two things;
I) no natural leader in the squad to impress the managers tactics. II) still thinking your managing academy players to coach them play by play. Surprised a senior pro doesn’t tell him to fuck off.

Awful conditions, awful officials. kept on plugging on a glue pot of a pitch draw a fair result in a poor game, take a point and move on.
glad to see Ewan back won more balls than weeks in a 15 minute cameo than in 90.
exactly the player we need to start making an impact in midfield

Needed the 3 points tonight, but I suppose equalising so late we have to be grateful for 1. As others commented, against the type of opposition and on a pudding of a pitch you need that focal point/target man to hit and build from which we are lacking.

Hard to sum that performance up really. Probably got what we deserved out of the match. It looked really difficult to play our usual game in those conditions. Though annoying to see Peterborough outplaying us at times. Wish we would have shown a bit more urgency generally and gone more direct when we had the 2 on 2 opportunities when Sports forward play broke down.

Awful conditions, more like a battlefield than a football pitch. Soldiered on and salvaged a point. Will take that.

2-1 P’boro, 75 Blues We’re having an under-par season with our strikers not firing on all cylinders. So unless a midfielder finds his shooting boots, can’t see us winning. Under par? After 31 games last season we had one more point. Yes we were scoring more goals, but we are still picking up points. So had more points this time last season, and scored more goals tiis time last season. Think I made a reasonably accurate assessment. If our strikers get to gel together, then I think we'll be better and not 'under par'. Think the game proved my point? (Although playing on that pitch looked like every footballer's nightmare)

Its gone a bit frantic now they have a player that seems to be twating a few of ours and the officials are absolutely awful Gash (with a bit of surplus weight) up front for them appeared to "lose it" - and the weak referee let him get away with his antics, which is indicative of the match officials at this level.

We were very poor tonight in a game which was played in very very poor conditions both weather wise and the state of the pitch. Based off watching the game 0-0 was the most likely outcome yet we completely cocked it up and went 1-0 down and very fortunately (was never a pen) was awarded a spot kick in last min by the ref who wasn’t exactly the sharpest tool in the shed. Anyway least we scored this time and got the point we should’ve really had on balance of the game. Pressure on us against Scarborough now with the results from teams around us tonight

Back home after that - a fairly local away game for me. Conditions were not exactly great and the officials were just useless as so often is the case. Peterborough had the better of the chances in the first half but 2nd half we looked more promising and the first 20 mins or so we were all over them. Problem is we just didn’t shoot. We could easily have scored 3 or 4 had we actually had a shot rather than passing it back or out wide each time. That definitely needs looking at. Bug, given the state of the pitch and the officials, I’m pleased with the point.

Another tin pot team/club we couldn't beat and tired of the excuses. Why won't we shoot, not use subs, keep the ball on the floor even though it's a poor pitch but they won everything in the air!
We'll still be here next season and doing exactly the same things by the look of it.
