Facebook is worse than this place for Toxic fans. Saw someone on Facebook yesterday, suggesting in all seriousness that we should be applying to join the Welsh Premiership

Probably thinks we’ll get European football and a run in the CL through it Have seen a few Prem fans from the city put forward this line of thinking over the years. But the reality would be far grimmer and I don’t know of one fan of ours who would want us to do that. Playing the likes of Haverfordwest four times a season and no longer being able to play in the FA Cup. A non-starter.

Realistically looking at TNS as an example we’d be lucky to get passed the 1st QR in any European competition.

Would be playing teams with lower crowds than Farsley every week, in a League nobody who competes in it likes. Even Cymru North fans don't want promotion into a League where a full time English club dominate on crowds of 300 (mostly their own academy players). Colwyn Bay average over 700 and are bottom. Thats the state of football in the WPL. Us joining that shite could only and should only get mentioned on 1st April, pre-12pm.

I seem to remember one of our past owners who I won't grace with a mention, did float the idea of taking us into the Welsh Prem after the English pyramid kicked us out.
One huge plus of being fan owned is knowing that we're no longer at the whim of a chairman trying to squeeze every last £ out of us before leaving us to pick up the scraps, and that 'ideas' such as this one would always have to go to a vote (not that the current board would ever let it get that far!)
