This man is taking the absolute piss out of you, and all of us. As custodians of our wonderful club, are you going to let him continue doing so?
Some of us were sold a dream in the summer, some of us remained very sceptical but essentially gave him a chance judging by the superb season ticket sales. How has he repaid us?
I fear for Saturday if this man is still in the dugout - the atmosphere will be toxic before kick off. Soon the ire and anger will turn to you in the boardroom. None of us want that - act now. Relieve him of his duties so he never has to disgrace a football club again (because there can be no way he will find another first team manager job).
The fans' patience with him has disappeared entirely and its wavering with you in the boardroom until the decisive action is taken.
I expect a statement by noon tomorrow confirming his departure.

just to add, that it is now time for the Board to step up and act decisively. Surely they should have been have prepared for this eventuality after the appalling Macc home game ? . It is now very simple, he must go immediately in the best interests of the Club. McCarthy’s failure and embarrassing undermining of the Club can no longer be tolerated, and the frustrating silence of the board must also end . Enough is enough, time is up.

Yes agree I fully expect a statement confirming his exit today, this cannot go on. If this doesn't happen then serious questions need to be asked of the board. It has gone beyond a joke this and the post match interview was just embarrassing.

I said about 3 weeks ago that they need to put him out of his misery. He's clearly not in a good place (who would be?) and he needs sacking for his own good as much as ours. Got to be cruel to be kind.
Once the board catch up with the rest of us, I'd like to know why he wasn't sacked toward the end of last season - plenty of us wanted it and justified why. Was it just about money? Did they believe he'd turn it around?

I fully expect the board to do the necessary today. Enough is enough.

Was it just about money? Did they believe he'd turn it around? Last season there were quite a few of us who were astute enough to know that McCarthy was clueless and should be sacked but there were those who shouted us down, mainly because he was a 'nice man'. With this division in support, it would have been difficult for the Board to sack him but the feeling to get rid now appears to be practically unanimous, so the Board must act on our behalf.

Got to assume that McCarthy is currently in a meeting with the board sorting out a mutual agreement. My first day back at college today but I'll be keeping my phone closeby waiting for a statement.

I know some of us have already written to Mark Maguire but I suggest EVERYONE who loves this club e mail him today demanding a change of manager. The situation is too serious to fanny about any longer.

he won't resign and walk away from a pay out so can someone please explain how he is going to be paid off if he is quite rightly sacked? it seems the budget can't stretch to medical staff so buying the remaining contract could put the club in financial difficulty.....
board statement should have been given last night i have a feeling they won't have the bottle to sack him.....

They have to act soon otherwise they themselves, will be in the firing line and the damage this will do in the long term will be a a real concern. At the very least we need a statement from them, not Mark Maguire, about the situation. I fear we will hear nothing, or we'll get another 'Blue Monday' message before the Ebbsfleet game.

There comes a time when the board need to be decisive and not let their heart rule their heads.
John McCarthy is portrayed to be a great guy which I do not question, however tough and easy decisions are made throughout business and life in general. The time has come to remember we are a football club and at this present moment in time the football side of the club is probably the worst that has been on offer for many a year, its utter garbage week in week out for the past 10 months, clueless tactics that has turned respected players into poor players. Every game during the period mentioned for our opponents is like a training match, continually attacking our team with no applied pressure from ourselves.
As a fan / co-owner enough is enough and like many I think we have suffered these unacceptable tactics for far too long...we as fans voiced our unhappiness last night and over the past few weeks. I hope the board listen to the fans as we have been patient, backed the team to the hilt, but at this present moment under the current regime this support is diminishing at a great rate.
Make the easy decision and put us all out of our misery please......
