Well we have finally released the shackles of Burr and his side Kick Mccarthy it seems like it's taken forever to cut the cord and it's cost us big time two pay offs for two useless Managers but we must regroup and back Our Club and the players we have we are in a dog fight make no mistake - let's get behind them from the off on Saturday and show them what playing for a proper Football Club is all about - Well done to the Board for taking the decision and let's hope we recruit a Manager with experience that can bring entertainment back to the Deva - we can still make this a Great Season - See u all Saturday

I know it's short notice but could we not do special admission prices to encourage a bigger than normal gate?

I know it's short notice but could we not do special admission prices to encourage a bigger than normal gate? What you mean everybody pays an extra fiver to try and offset the cost of sacking Jon.

Did wonder about the cost to dispose of his services and as and when that is known then may be supporters can subscribe to help the club, seems an odd thing to pay up to get rid but its what most wanted , it is a fan owned club so rough with the smooth - the club may need some help so hands in pocket may be a way of putting our money where its needed.
In time the positive effect of the change will be reflected in increased number showing up and that will help the club - I expect Saturday will show a more positive outlook and more than might have been expected to attend so lets hope the release of the shackles will allow good players to show through and perform as we wish them to do- crowds will follow if they do.

I thought to encourage as many as possible to come on Saturday a special admission price of say £10. Let's face it we have lost a lot of our home gate. We could do with them back in terms of budget/ resources etc.'point taken regarding taking some of the strain off the pay off for JM though.

Some of the posts on here have been hysterical when all we have experienced is one of the many thin patches on the field of play that more seasoned fans like myself are used to. Off the pitch we are still a fantastic club run by the fans for the fans.

Hysteria has synonyms such as excitement, nervousness, agitation, and frenzy, all of which can be used to describe emotions connected with any passionate fan. Nothing wrong with being hysterical given what has been happening on the pitch of late. Haven't lost your passion have you?

I think we should have a pay what you want day.
Obviously the Whoppers will put 50p in (even if they bother to come) but it will give season ticket holders, like myself, the opportunity to make a contribution. It was very successful at Lincoln a couple of seasons ago and was the catalyst for their upsurge.

Nothing wrong with being hysterical given what has been happening on the pitch of late. Haven't lost your passion have you? God no, it was not the rallying cries forMcCarthy out, that was understandable. But some people treated the poor football as if the club was in meltdown calling for the CEO to go, the board to resign and saying they wouldn't step foot in the ground again. Off the pitch we are a million miles from the Vaughan days, yes mistakes are inevitably made, but we have a sound club. I believe in supporting the club through thick and thin. This year has been very thin. I went to Aldershot fully expecting to get trounced, but that's what being a supporter is about. You hang in there. Let's not forget that the board are fans elected by fans, they have a very difficult job to do and had to be sure sacking was the right thing to do given the financial implications. I echo the original poster, we may still be in for a rough ride, but now is the time to get behind the Blues and whoever takes over the managerial reigns.
